Very nice!
If you have problems unlocking the secret route, don't bother - it's short and it's basically a simple welcome of the player into Tsukimi dorm. Actually a disappointment, IMO. No plot, nothing really happens. A little of blah blah blah, and that's it.

The main character is such a pussy he gets bullied by children, we have a saying "talk shit get hit"
smack the bastards in the face, the mc cant even be called human,
the comedy of the anime is bullying a braindead kid with broken ribs, feels torturous to play through, like its made for masochists.
Do you really like humiliation? Then boy, do I have a visual novel for you...
The best thing this game has are the CG's, and the off-brand scenes. It was hard to hold back
This review comes from someone who doesn't like love triangles (unless they aren't 100% toxic). If you like them, you'll like this VN.
If you can ignore the awful love triangle drama, the garbage misunderstandings, and the way characters act in most parts of the game, it's not a bad VN. If I'm completely honest, I fast-forwarded many of those parts because I always considered them to be filler scenes which don't add a thing to the story.
The reason I say that is because once all of that is out of the game, everything is beautiful. The relationship between both MC's, with both girls is really wholesome, and it becomes enjoyable. If they had only made a non-toxic love triangle, kept misunderstanding to a minimum, and made characters less insecure, the game could have been even better.
As for how the game routes are built...
The game has 2 MC's; Tohru, who is the real MC, and Naoki, who is the secondary MC. Both of them have 2 girls to choose from. Before you unlock Naoki's story, you have to play through both routes from Tohru, since they are connected.
TOHRU
For his story, you can choose either "Nanako Sakura (pink-haired)", or "Sakura Kirishima (black-haired)" (heck the name of the VN). The cannon route is with Nanako, considering what happens in Naoki's story. The build up until you get to each route is painful, but once you enter any of them, it gets a little better.
NAOKI
After you finish Tohru's story, you will be able to unlock Naoki's, which takes place a year after the events in Tohru's route. He can choose between his IRL childhood friend "Nitta Akira (blue-haired)", and his virtual childhood friend "Kurumi Tachibana". For this one, the cannon route would be Akira's, again, considering the events from the after-story Tohru's relationship with Nanako. The build-up for this one is even more painful. I would play Kurumi's route first since her relationship with Naoki feels really forced, and doesn't make to much sense story-wise if you play Akira's route first.
After playing both stories, you unlock the after-story for both Sakura, and they sure are beautiful... Nanako's AS takes Akira as Naoki's partner, whereas Sakura's AS takes Kurumi as Naoki's partner. The AS routes unlock 4 different off-brand scenes.
TL;DR: Overall I think it's a good VN, but it could have been better. I would recommend buying it on discount (if you aren't a fan of love triangles), but if you like this kind of stuff, I think it's worth paying full price.
Characters feel and act real moreso in this story than in many others.
Honestly I was impressed. I've only played one other dating simulator and while the fan service was plentiful I was overjoyed by the amount of story it offered. It took me about 20 hours to get through my first play of it. Great game!

Super dull and boring story and the girls appear way younger then usual.
I have never really played a Sakura title I liked, this one was on sale though and I have about as much time as money right now. So if I'm going to bad titles.. why not go all the way

It's ok if you are just looking for a wispful escape from reality to some other-wordly boring japanese style hentai story.. It's fairly boring and has an old-timey feel to it. There is an R18 patch and a few CG's to collect. I'm hours into the story without any real upskirts downblouse or any of the usual perverse stuff we love from these artists.. guess that might be a spoiler.. it still has a decent feel for what you are really seeking however
if that feeling of a misspent youth coupled with the ability to take long naps.. without needing a box of tissues seems more your alley then the usual 1 hr wankfest review on these.. then you might enjoy it

Sakura Sakura is a good read for just killing time and having some fun. It's a little archaic in its engine and lack of real choice making and menu options, but it's a fun read. I didn't know what to expect when coming into it, and I was a little on the fence during the beginning, but I stuck through it and I ended up really enjoying it. I really don't have much to say other than it was fun, the map system is simple but interesting, and I had a good laugh and a few feel-good moments with it.
That said, it does falter a bit with a lackluster story with characters that don't really have much substance to them. The characters were enjoyable to learn about for a bit and crack some jokes out of left field that are sometimes funny. In terms of their personalities overall, they'd get annoying sometimes and really have some oof moments I was dreading to get through. All in all, Sakura Sakura is a fun read that might not be worth waiting for all of the voice acting, but it's a short read that might brighten up your day a bit. However, this is definitely one of those titles that I'd have label as just not for everyone and it really boils down to, "Is this your kind of thing or not?" I'd certainly say that you will enjoy your experience with it more if you don't focus on every little thing and just enjoy it for what it is rather than what it isn't and what you want.
I kinda like this game very informative for the items event i received also the supporting characters are annoying at the beginning but they actually care and supports the mc and the romance/comedy is good i had fun. I will rate this 9/10
I've spent a hefty amount of time completing all the routes of this visual novel. However, I cannot say I've enjoyed this experience. A lot of the time, I felt frustrated or just bored, and had to more or less drag myself to the finish line. After finishing, I hardly ever thought about it, and now I struggle to even recall any of the events, even though it wasn't that long ago. What's so bad about this visual novel, you might ask?
- Way too many of the characters (including a few major characters) are too cold-hearted or outright nasty, especially at the beginning.
- It suffers from "anime sexism", where girls hitting guys is played off for laughs. I don't find violence funny, and it happens way too often in this VN, often over something extremely minor. The worst part is, when girls are targeted for violence, it's treated as a serious matter. Double standards, much?
- The characters often act in ways that's nowhere near what a reasonable human being would act. I dunno, maybe the whole cast is insane.
- The plot is about school clubs that are apparently taken way too seriously, and I just can't relate. Dude, chill, it's just a club, the fate of the world doesn't depend on it.
- Nearly every character is apparently a bigshot, and conflicts are generally resolved by an "arms race" of who's the "biggest shot" of the bigshots. The whole thing reeks of pretentiousness.
But the most damning weakness of this VN is just that it doesn't stand out in any way. I can forgive a few weaknesses if it also has strengths, or is unique in some way. But it's a bog standard romantic visual novel, rehashing various cliches from anime and other VNs, while bringing nothing new to the table. It's one of the most expensive games in my collection too, which just makes me feel even more ripped off.

I have tried on multiple occasions to finish the common route of this game but I had one big problem with it that made it too annoying to even try.
And that is the supporting characters Akira , and Naoki who are in the same dorm as the Main Character.
These two are not funny in their harassment to the main character, their interactions with the MC are unbearably annoyed,all it does is make you dream of how good this game might have been if one of the choices during their conversations would allow the MC to beat the living shit of Naoki.
These two are so unbearably annoying that it makes playing the game truly difficult.
Top 3 visual novels of all time. Sakura Sakura is unique in having multiple protagonists and a switching standpoint. All heroines (except Kurumi) are very likeable with the clear correct choice being Nanako-Sensei. Truly a masterpiece with some unforgettable moments, great comedy and shounen moments too.
As all my friends say, I’m very picky when the subject is Visual Novels, I love them, but I also have an extremely specific taste, thus I usually spend hours and hours searching for VNs to find one I would like to play. So, it’s a hard task make me feel willing to buy a VN and even a harder one to make me love it, however Sakura Sakura managed to do both.
Let’s start talking about the negative points first. In certain moments during the gameplay/reading I felt that humour was unnecessary used or overused, of course I know that we are talking about a comedy here, but I think that the typical anime humour ruined some dramatic or tense dialogs and moments of the story breaking the mood of the scene, I reckon that some scenes would have been better and add more to the story if their moods hadn’t been broken by humour.
The other and last negative point is the loose ends, I feel that some parts of the story aren’t well explained or detailed and we just have to accept that it happened, but it doesn’t bother me that much because I love to create my own interpretations of the situations when I’m reading a VN and these “loose ends” give me space to do it (but of course that I don’t want a VN full of loose ends, and fortunately it doesn’t happen in Sakura Sakura).
It is important to say that these negative points aren’t frequent during the VN, they only happen sometimes, so don’t worry, they won’t ruin your reading. And note that both negative points aren’t problems or fails of the game, they are just things of personal taste, so they might be positive to you or someone else. Well, let’s talk about the positive ones now.
Something veeeery important to me in a VN is its length and unfortunately most of them here in Steam are quite short, taking usually 2, 5 or at maximum 10 hours to finish, what makes you don’t feel connected with the characters, because you don’t have the necessary time for it, you barely start playing and it is already over. But this VN is not like that, I’ve finished the story in almost 30 hours, what can sound a lot for a “just reading” game, but honestly, for me it doesn’t feel a lot, the time flies when you are reading, and furthermore, all this time being immersed in the story makes you feel attached to the characters and develop feeling for them, what really changes your experience.
The artwork is fantastic, the drawing style of this VN is very beautiful and clean, making it very pleasant to look. All the scenarios are well-done and detailed; the facial expressions of the characters change according to the discussion and situation, fitting perfectly to what is happening as the scene flows; and the CGs are gorgeous, so much that one of them became my wallpaper.
Audio: the soundtrack is excellent, it contains good songs for all the different situations you’ll find during the plot, happy song; sad songs; tense songs and of course the romantic ones, what improves a lot the reading. The dubbing is also amazing, the voices fit very well in the characters and the fact that all the dialogues are completely dubbed makes a huge difference. I don’t think I could spend 30 hours just hearing generic phrases being repeated over and over as how it occurs in other visual novels, it would be quite boring and annoying.
However, all these positive things would mean nothing if the plot wasn’t good, but it is. The story is a high school slice of life, what pleases me a lot, once it’s not full of fanciful and impossible fictional things in its plot as it happens in almost every VN. Of course, somethings that usually don’t happen in a high-schooler life happen in this plot, but they are not impossible, this plot could be someone’s life, another reason that made me feel attached to the characters while I was reading. The story is quite catchy and immersive, my mood and feelings were constantly changing according to what was happening in the story and you’re always wanting to know what will happen next, countless were the moments I caught myself cheering for the protagonist and sharing his feelings.
To conclude, I loved to play Sakura Sakura, it has a great story and it is a well-made VN. Although I’m now sad because I didn’t want this reading to end, I surely had a good time with it. I know the price is a bit salty, but I strongly recommend the game, it worths. I hope you have an awesome experience while playing it.
This is a good read, Its funny and the romance is sweet for all 4 routes. You read thru the pov of Tohru and Naoki and each get two girls routes they can go through. The common route for both are quite entertaining and it does have some good feel moments. While Tohru gets after stories for his routes Naoki doesnt which kinda sucks but the endings to his routes are fine imo. I like Naoki better as a character but i felt Tohru's routes were better. Good vn worth a read

Cute, Typical Anime Romance, Romanic Comedy.
Downside, if you are like me and a fan of the more choose your own adventure or Stiens Gate fans.
This is going to dissapoint you. Not worth the money at its current state.
Price might be bit high for some but it is worth it.. Both story and style are very good. If you are into High School Drama/Comedy you will love this VN
