I love this game and am wondering how I can donate money to provide updates. I understand its a past project but the game has so much potential. Its fun to play and I appreciate all the weapons you can find. Adding new weapons, better timing on special weapons explosive powers, smoother control of army or even pre game army commands to protect and or attack.
Tales of Boredom
This game had such high potential to be good. All they really had to do was to copy a little bit of ideas from mount and blade and they somehow managed to fuck it up. The controls are wonky and the map is ass the game just throws you out there and I am sitting here with a mini military of knights with no armor and a cracked sword and I am winning battles, there is 0 challenge or story. Reworked combat my ass, 20+ hour story my left ass cheek, and dungeons? where the hell was even that? absolutely do not recommend 0/10 would waste money again
Likely my most played VR game. The combat itself it where this game shines, I haven't played another game like it that matches how it feels.
Combat
Combat in this game feels very fluid and satisfying. Different types of enemy armour and weapons are something you need to consider as it will change up which weapons will be more effective, and how you use them, ie. enemies with longer weapons such as 2 handed swords or spears can get in the way of your swings and require you to attack from a different angle.
The ability to grab enemy shields and weapons (not on the blade, duh) is a great feature that adds another level of immersion to a fight.
Morale plays into combat too, where enemies will see you and your army slaughtering them, and some soldiers will turn tail and attempt to run from the fight. You can keep your army's morale up with battle cries, war horns, and not sucking in combat.
There are many ways to control your army on the battlefield by telling which types of units to go where, form shield or pike walls, or hold certain areas. These are features some may use more than others, personally I prefer to let the soldiers do there thing and simply fight alongside them.
Did I mention you can headbutt enemies? Great for regaining personal space.
Environment/Maps
There's a decent variety of maps to play on, which is great for quick battles. During campaign though, due to the amount of battles you (at least me, I choose to fight over diplomacy) fight in, it does sometimes seem like they get a little repetitive. The maps function perfectly fine, albeit some more than others lacking a certain aesthetic polish that some might appreciate.
Personally I'd prefer more maps to play on for city and field battles, before making them look as pretty as possible.
Overall
Overall, I can't recommend this game enough to fans of medieval combat and fighting games in general. There are so many features under-the-hood of this game that takes some time to learn, (some I still haven't taken the time to learn) but whether you use them or not, you'll get hours of fun out of this game before even touching the campaign.
Ignore the negative reviews with an hour or less played. If you enjoy these types of games, you'll enjoy this one. I'd love to see development of this game continue, hopefully this game gets picked up by some content creators and it can get the exposure it deserves.
combat feels like you are dragging your sword through mud and then swinging, if you are looking or something worth your time? this is not it, melee games in vr have one thing that breaks them, wiggle physics on player weapons, makes the game feel cheap and not fun to play. Therefore fuck this game it sucks im glad i got it for 2$
Very glitchy and not fun
This is basically Mount and Blade VR. Definetly some jank, but the combat itself and the really long and in depth campaign make it worth it.
I can say this much, if you want a VR game that can serve as a workout then this game is for you.
It is fun, it is taxing, and most importantly. Violent.

With enough skill you can basically take on an entire army alone even if all your teammates died.

its so close to being good. its main problem is at various moment it throws an unrealistic amount of enemys thrown at you. when you defend vilages its an 8 min ordeal and the last 1:30 you will be running the whole time oping you dont take a flying axe to the head or run out of stamina cuz youll be outmaned 35 to 5. in the caticolbs you come across 15 to 20 enemys balled up and your not getting past unlses you have axes and a corner to just powerswing on. this game needs its tempo leveled out then it will be awsum.
This game is awesome. Basically, it is small Mount and Blade in VR. Their are multiple game modes, including a respectably sized campaign. The game really offers you a ton of freedom to play the way you want to play. Want to do 1 vs 1 combat, 1 vs many combat, command a huge army from a distance or get into the mix in 100 vs 100 battles...it is all here. This game is far better then the VR games most AAA studios have put out so far. I was worried the game would have performance issues with large scale battles, but my 2070 super ran this game flawlessly. I highly recommend Tales of Glory!
quite fun! blade and sorcery meets mount blade, great fun and personally i enjoy the "main character" feel of the game

I liked this game. Despite the fact that this is a more laggy and buggy version of blade and sorcery. If the developers continue to update the game, it will definitely be interesting. Right now no flow or fluid gameplay. So far 5 out of 10.

As a knight, I love this game. Wear my armor while playing to train.
Nothing much more meaningful to add here except if you are likely to try this game, then you MUST keep things out of your play area. To get really good in this game is to use swords and axes with a sense of real weight and accuracy. You'd more or less use a sword in a more traditional way to swing in medieval combat. Those utilizing certain combat stances REALLY adds to the immersion of the battles included. So please heed this warning in that chopping frantically to gain quick kills will hurt your chances in survival each session as well as potentially damaging things and those around you. 7/10 in concept alone but fills the void if you're looking for a fun time killer. Absolutely WOULD RECOMMEND 100%.

Wonderfully made indie game with an incredible gameplay concept that hopefully one day will be fully thought out and completely polished.
the graphics may not be as good but the gameplay is amazing
one of the best hack and slash games I have played, basically mount and blade VR with more focus on combat than campaign
