I love supporting indie games, and Kuro Survival is one of the most unique survival games I’ve played. The hand-drawn art style, the dark and eerie atmosphere, and the challenging gameplay all come together perfectly. You can feel the love and effort put into this game. Of course, it’s not perfect—there are some bugs, and the difficulty can be overwhelming at times—but I think the developers are onto something special. I’m really excited to see how the game evolves with future updates. If you’re looking for a fresh take on the survival genre, definitely give this a try!
The game has a great foundation, but the balance is way off. Some weapons feel useless, while others make fights too easy. The difficulty is inconsistent—sometimes enemies barely react, and other times they swarm you instantly. I also noticed that some crafting materials are too rare, making progression slower than it needs to be. Right now, it feels like the game is punishing in a frustrating way rather than a rewarding way. I hope future updates bring better balancing, because there’s a good game hidden underneath all these rough edges.
I love the idea of Kuro Survival, but I think it’s a bit too hard for casual players like me. The world is beautiful but brutal, and I found myself dying constantly in the first few hours. While I enjoy the challenge, I feel like there should be more accessibility options, like an easier mode for players who just want to explore. Also, the tutorial doesn’t explain enough, so I had to check guides online to understand some mechanics. That said, the game is unique and has a lot of potential. If the developers tweak the balance a little, I’d definitely give it another try.
Kuro Survival is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a survival game. The atmosphere is dark and immersive, and every decision feels meaningful. Resources are scarce, which forces you to strategize, and enemies are relentless, making every encounter tense. The crafting system is deep but not overwhelming, and the exploration feels rewarding. My only complaint is the difficulty curve—it might be too punishing for new players. However, if you enjoy a real challenge and love survival games with strong mechanics and a haunting world, this game is for you. I can’t wait to see future updates!
This game is terrifying in the best way! The lighting, the enemy sounds, the tension—it all comes together beautifully. If you love horror survival, you HAVE to try this!
The core idea is great, but the execution is rough. There are too many balancing issues, and the UI feels outdated. This game needs serious updates before I can recommend it.
I love the visuals and the eerie atmosphere! The game is tough, but that’s part of the fun. That said, some mechanics (like hunger and stamina) feel a bit too punishing. A slight rebalance would help
I thought this game was going to have smoother combat, but the hit detection feels off sometimes. The movement is clunky, and aiming ranged weapons is frustrating. Needs polish.
Kuro Survival is a fun and challenging survival game. I love the art style and the combat feels smooth. Sometimes, though, the enemies feel a bit too overwhelming, especially early on. Still, it's a solid game worth playing!
Finally, a survival game that doesn’t hold your hand! Kuro Survival is punishing but fair, and every victory feels rewarding. The crafting system is deep, and the enemy AI is surprisingly smart. If you love games like Don't Starve or The Forest, this is a must-play.
The game has potential, but I don’t have hours to grind. The early game is too slow, and resources are scarce. Maybe add a casual mode for players like me
Good game good trading card good badge good good and good
The lore and setting are intriguing, but I wish the story was more developed. There are interesting hints, but it feels like there’s a lot left unexplored.
I really wanted to love this game, but the bugs ruin it for me. Some items disappear from my inventory, and I had a few crashes. If these issues get fixed, I’ll reconsider my rating.
The game is fun, but why can’t I customize my ninja? A few different outfits or weapon skins would add more personality to the game.
The idea of having both melee and ranged combat is great, but the shurikens barely do any damage, making them almost pointless. If they were buffed a bit, they could add a lot more variety to the gameplay. As it stands, I just stick to the sword and dodge everything.
The fast-paced action, responsive controls, and satisfying combat make this one of my favorite indie games this year. Needs more content, but still a great experience.
This game feels like a throwback to classic ninja action games from the NES and SNES era. It’s fast-paced, brutally difficult, and incredibly fun once you get the timing down. The only downside is that it’s a bit short. I would love to see DLC or an expansion in the future!
I can’t count how many times I was hit by attacks that should have missed me. The hit detection in this game is seriously flawed, and it makes an already difficult game feel unfair. Fix the hitboxes, and maybe I’ll give it another try. Until then, hard pass. 👎
I bought this game on sale for $0.49, and wow—what a steal! The pixel art is simple but charming, and the shuriken-throwing is super satisfying. The difficulty is just right for someone who enjoys a quick challenge but doesn’t want to rage-quit. The trading cards and achievements are a nice bonus. Totally worth it!"
More tittle if you like it.

Didn't expect much from an indie ninja game, but damn, this is surprisingly fun. The boss fights are pretty intense, and you really need to time your attacks well. The arena-style combat reminds me of old-school arcade games. I just wish there were more weapons, but for the price, it’s a solid game. Hope the devs add more updates!
I love ninjas! The game is so cool because you can throw shurikens and fight bosses. My favorite part was the big boss at the end of level 3. It’s hard, but I kept trying and finally won! I want more levels! Please make more!
The game is fun, but I ran into some weird bugs. Sometimes, my character gets stuck in the ground, and I have to restart the level. Also, the hitboxes feel a little off—I get hit even when I think I dodged an attack. Needs some patches!
Rage Quitter
This game is so unfair! The enemies just rush at you from both sides, and some of the boss fights feel impossible. I kept dying over and over, and there’s no difficulty setting. If you don’t like hard games, avoid this one!
Kuro Survival is a budget-friendly indie title that delivers a fun arcade-style experience. While the gameplay loop is simple, it does a good job of creating fast-paced, satisfying combat. The trading card system and badges add a little extra incentive for Steam collectors. However, the animations could be smoother, and the enemy variety is a bit limited. Overall, it’s a fun pick-up-and-play game, especially for those who love classic 2D ninja action.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (7.5/10)

I bought this game because it looked like a fun ninja adventure, but it’s way too short. I finished it in about 45 minutes. The combat is okay, but there’s not much variety—just shurikens and a sword. If you’re looking for a deep ninja game, this isn’t it. If you just want something cheap and quick, maybe it’s fine.
Game impresses with its adorable visuals and engaging dual-character gameplay. The ability to control two characters simultaneously while avoiding obstacles adds a unique and challenging twist. The game’s vibrant graphics and cute characters make it visually appealing and enjoyable.
However, the lack of varied levels can make the gameplay feel repetitive after a while. A level-based system could provide more variety and keep players engaged longer. Additionally, the interface design is quite basic, and the visual effects could be more polished to enhance the overall experience. Despite these issues, the variety of skins and the simple, addictive gameplay make Game a worthwhile pick for fans of endless runners.
Kuro Survival offers a thrilling experience as players embody a ninja fighting for survival in the wilderness. The dynamic gameplay mechanics involving shurikens and swords keep you on the edge of your seat.
The enemy AI in the ninja survival game is simplistic and easily exploited, undermining the challenge and excitement of combat encounters. Enemies lack strategic depth and pose little threat to skilled players, resulting in repetitive and unengaging gameplay.
Kuro Survival's stunning visuals and immersive sound design create a captivating atmosphere, drawing players into a world where quick reflexes and strategic thinking are key to survival.
With its engaging storyline and challenging gameplay, Kuro Survival keeps you hooked from start to finish. The blend of stealth, combat, and survival elements makes for an exciting and rewarding gaming experience.
Despite its promising premise, the ninja game's storyline is weak and fails to captivate players. The narrative feels disjointed and lacking in depth, leaving players feeling disconnected from the world and characters, ultimately diminishing the emotional impact of the game.
The sound design in the ninja game is lackluster and uninspired, failing to create a dynamic and immersive audio experience. Repetitive sound effects and generic background music detract from the overall atmosphere of the game, diminishing its ability to draw players in.
he visuals and animations in the ninja game are lackluster and outdated, failing to captivate players with immersive graphics or engaging art style. The mediocre presentation detracts from the overall enjoyment of the game, making it difficult to overlook its visual shortcomings.
The combat system in the ninja survival game feels clunky and unresponsive, leading to frustrating encounters with enemies. The lack of fluidity in movement and attacks detracts from the overall enjoyment and immersion, making it difficult to fully enjoy the game experience.
s strategic gameplay elements, combined with its fast-paced action sequences, create a truly engaging and immersive gaming experience. Every moment is filled with excitement and challenge
The level design in the ninja game is uninspired and lacks variety, leading to a sense of déjà vu as players navigate through repetitive environments. The lack of unique landmarks or points of interest makes exploration feel tedious and unfulfilling.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.

it is a great game but they should make it cross platform for pc, or else the pc fan following of the game will diminish over time
Kinda torn between recommending to be honest, but overall I say give it a go. Its still a blast with a good selection of characters and customizing characters and move sets aren't too bad. With a campaign mode that seems to just improve ever so slightly with each iteration, its pretty fun along with arcade ladder and variety of modifiers with the Towers of Time. The downsides? The grind. This game in terms of unlocks got worse than the last...waaaay worse. All kinds of consumables, materials, coins, ect, that when I first looked at it I felt like they were going the mobile game route. Thankfully, its not that bad; but I look at all the gear that you have for each character and set of animations and customization features as I start to calculate in my head how long it will take to get all these options leads to a staggering amount of time sunk into it. There is a really good chance I won't play this game that long to get everything, even for one character which overall kinda sucks. Even with all the Tower of Time challenges and crypt unlocks, I'm really not the kind of person whose going to invest that much time into getting everything in this case; but if that works for you than all the power to you.
Grinding aside for all the grinding, the variation of fighting modes and modifiers do really add to replay value.
What I hear: an amazing collection of curated music to get me to bop and groove

I have replaced my keycaps twice in the last 2 years from rhythm games. :D
These negative reviews are kinda ridiculous...
I don't normally defend price increases but for 35 quid I've received a game that has received continuous updates for four bloody years with hundreds of new songs being added, new maps, new characters, etc. I can 100% understand the need to change the monetisation model because I don't expect them to be working for free here and the value for money was just too good, especially with this amount of content behind it.
Games, wait for it, make most of their money upon release. Buying one purchase early and expecting consistent free updates 4+ years after release is incredibly unrealistic. I was surprised they're still releasing content in all honesty.
