Vol. 3 not only focuses on Maple and Cinnamon, but also offers a (albeit very small) glimpse at Nekopara's world through some of the story's themes. Things like the status of its catgirls, and how they're perceived. By focusing on some of its world a bit more, I believe the volume already has a leg up from the others.
I also felt its story was stronger, by not just having the duo's growth be realized, but by also giving them a passion that they share. It really was a nice touch to their bond, to make them feel like genuine friends, different from Azuki and Coconut who possess a sisterly bond for example.
It's a bit late to realize this now, but I really love these games. This volume's story in particular has reminded me that Nekopara is more than just catgirl sex (certainly not discrediting it though). Maybe I've grown attached to the characters of La Soleil and their fun antics... but what am I saying right?
Wholesome read with greater emphasis on Maple and Cinnamon.

I enjoyed learning more about Cinnamon and Maple’s backstory but the story just too goddamn long I ended up skipping it after reaching halfway because I ain’t got time to sit through that much dialogue. Also every other game focused so much on the featured duo but this one focused on a little bit of everyone which also put me off finishing it :/
A fun, slice of life game that has an entertaining cast of characters and a reasonable story to boot.
I'll admit, when I first started playing this series, I wasn't expecting to take it all that seriously. It's that classic wacky catgirl sex game series, I'm sure it'll be a laugh. Three (and a half) volumes in, and I'm willing to admit I've genuinely grown attached.
So far, this is probably the best volume, and it actually caught me off guard. Following the theme established, this one focuses on Maple and Cinnamon, the last couple catgirls who haven't fallen madly inlove with Kashou. Now, I had been indifferent towards Maple, but was very much not fond of Cinnamon's character based on her appearances in the earlier volumes. While I'd still argue she's probably my least favorite of the bunch, getting to know her story and personality beyond the surface has removed my negativity towards her.
The story in this one ramps up the stakes, if only a little, beyond the first few as well. Maple's story isn't just about internal growth and falling in love, it's about chasing a dream, a dream of becoming a musician, and of overcoming her insecurity both in her abilities and as being seen as "just another catgirl". This leads to more of my personal favorite part of the series; the dripfeeding of information regarding the status of catgirls in the greater world beyond the bubble. While I won't go into much detail, the topics of catgirl identity crisises and anti-catgirl racism are present.
Maybe I'm crazy, but these games have just a great vibe. With or without sex scenes, it makes no difference. It's hard not to feel relaxed with the antics of La Soleil.

It was perfect right to the last minute detail. Very deep story.
The best part about the story was when the MC didn't get with the two catgirls right away. Surprised they even delayed it that long... Almost forgot it was a hentai.
Read like 60% in Japanese. Pretty difficult for a novice, especially when Vanilla speaks in riddles + some hard Kanji. Too immersed in reading what the cat girls are moaning about to enjoy the h-scenes, but the art was good, I guess?
I give this one a score of nya/meow. It's a good Moege.

Kashou, you lucky bastard... Anyway, this series have been great, glad to read through all of it, my tears have dropped before this visual novel and it's banger ost. Nice animations, effects for a visual novel. There's no interactions but i think this is what makes it so unique, sometimes I just wanna sit back and read rather than making big decisions and impacting endings. There's some bittersweet moments that I always treasure in the series. Love it, 10/10, I'll play it again next year or somewhere in the future. NekoWorks, my liege , I shall await for your next project.
After seeing the vol 2, this one was kinda inspiring than emotional, but I am glad maple and cinnamon able to do what they want. Also this dlc is more unexpected one, yuri and erotic flavour mix and the bounciness is off the charts like they bounce for almost 10 seconds.
Other than the engine they use in this, this vol is also great to watch to the end.
If you're here you probably already like the series, so go for it, great character development and storytelling awaits you.
