The young officer is transferred to the capital where he is supposed to be under 24/7 control of the Emperor’s people as a sign of loyalty towards his mutinous father. It’s ironic that the young officer is convoyed by his Childhood friend, Lin. Now she’s serving as one of the Emperor’s guardian and each mission will be valuable for her career. However first, these two have to get over the Mountain Pass and here is a rumor stating the mystical things happen in that place.

Characters :

• Lin
She is a childhood friend of the protagonist who is convoying him to the capital city. She is afraid of ghosts. She loves money very much. Her family is one of the main authorities of the Empire. Her mother is originally from the Western realms. Lin inherited her color of the hair because of her mother’s origins. And Lin was bullied because of that color. She joined the guardians after Kang had joined the border troops.

• Mei
She is a tavern-lady who runs a guesthouse in the wilderness of the mountains. Kang sees a blue flower on her head and nobody else sees that flower. Sometimes, when she gets angry her eyes began shining. She loves gamble-games, and, most of all, she is mad about the game that was explained to her by some guest who was passing by that place.

• Shan
She is the leader of the werewolves and she is a cold white she-wolf. There are rumors about her people that spread among the humans. Most of the rumor is filled with fear but nobody knows anything for sure.

• Kang
His mother passed away when he was quite little. So he has vague memories about her. Kang used to play with Lin during the days of their childhood. When he was saved from the witch by a swordsman, Kang decided to be a warrior. However Kang was escorted to the capital because the Emperor was in rage so that the ruler could threaten to Kang’s father.

He loves drinking. He often crosses the line drinking really too much.
There is a pendant on his neck that was presented by his mother.

- Activate 'Demon Vision' from the settings to see through their clothes! In the new update, we've added ecchi elements. 16+

"50 Shades of Blizzard: Monster Mayhem... and Perfume"]

[INT. GAMING ROOM - NIGHT]

The Rosario + Vampire crew—TSUKUNE, OUTER MOKA, INNER MOKA, KURUMU, YUKARI, MIZORE, KOKOA—are joined by GRAY, JUVIA, GRAY SURGE, EDOLAS JUVIA, ICYHA, RUBY, and the infamous AQUA, DARKNESS, and ERZA from Konosuba. The game “Treasure of a Blizzard” awaits them. Chaos is already in the air.

[hr]

TSUKUNE: (nervously clutching the controller) Alright, everyone! Let’s start this! We’ve got a snowy fantasy world, romance, and action! Let’s dive in!

OUTER MOKA: (dreamily) I can already feel the chill... but I think I’ll be alright. Maybe I’ll even melt a little in this world.

INNER MOKA: (rolling her eyes) Oh, please. Romance? I’m here for the action.

KURUMU: (licking her lips) Romance, action... what’s the difference, right? It’s all about passion.

YUKARI: (teasing) Oh Kurumu, you just want to flirt with every pixel. I’m surprised you’re not already planning to “woo” the game’s NPCs.

KOKOA: (grumbling) Romance? Let’s get to the action, people. Monsters, battle, treasure, now.

GRAY: (tsundere) Fine, I’m here for the adventure... though I’m not exactly looking for a love story, okay?

JUVIA: (swooning) Gray-sama, the snow can’t freeze my love for you! I will warm you up with my heart, no matter how cold it gets! You’ll never feel alone again!

EDOLAS JUVIA: (snickering, crossing her arms) Oh, Gray-sama... you think I’m here to warm you up? How adorable. I’m not here to be your heater, I’m here to make sure you don’t freeze in that ridiculous snowstorm. You’re lucky I even care.

RUBY: (laughing) You guys sure know how to turn a simple game into a soap opera, huh?

ICHIYA: (spraying perfume around dramatically) Meeeeeeeen! I can feel it! The snow has never been so sensual! My fragrance is the perfect companion to the winter winds! Aqua Mysterioso... and of course, my manly essence!

[Suddenly, AQUA and DARKNESS from Konosuba burst in with dramatic flair.]

AQUA: (floating in, sparkling) Ahhh, I can feel my divine power in the air! My holy presence is here to cleanse the suffering from this game! Behold, the goddess AQUA has arrived! I’ll bless you with the waters of wisdom!

DARKNESS: (laughing maniacally) YES! PAIN! Suffering! The sweet agony of battle! Let’s get wrecked! This is what I live for!

ERZA: (stepping in, sword raised) Pain, you say? Well, I welcome it! Prepare yourselves for the might of Erza Scarlet! My sword is ready to cut through the cold blizzard.

ICHIYA: (spinning in circles, spraying more perfume) Meeeeeeeeeeeen! The air is alive with passion, beauty, and the sweetest of scents! Can you feel it?! The divine energy is radiating! Meeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

KURUMU: (grinning) Ooooh, monsters? Let me at them! Nothing like a bit of adventure to spice things up. And maybe save Tsukune at the same time. (winks)

MIZORE: (calmly) Monsters are fine, but I’m more interested in treasure. If there’s danger, so be it.

JUVIA: (dreamily, leaning toward Gray) Gray-sama, no monster can stop us. Not when I’m here to protect you. We’ll survive, together—and if you get cold, I’ll warm you up in more ways than one.

GRAY: (blushing) Juvia! Focus on the game!

JUVIA: (giggling) Oh Gray-sama, you make me feel so warm. You make me wetter than usual, if you know what I mean. (winks)

GRAY SURGE: (laughing nervously) Um... what? Uh... sure, let’s fight that monster, Juvia! I’m ready to fight!

EDOLAS JUVIA: (teasingly) Oh Gray, I bet you’re ready to fight. It’s just a shame you’ll never be able to keep up with me. I’ll be too busy keeping myself warm while you freeze in the cold. (smirking)

DARKNESS: (swinging her sword) Pain! Suffering! Bring it on! I’m ready for all the pleasure that comes with it!

ERZA: (grinning) Battle, pain, romance—let’s do this! I’m ready to face the challenge!

AQUA: (floating higher) And I’ll cleanse this place with my holy waters!

JUVIA: (turning to Aqua, excited) Aqua! We both control water magic, don’t we? How about we join forces and flood this game with our powers?

AQUA: (smiling, lifting her arms dramatically) Water magic?! Yes! I shall cleanse the world of impurities, starting with this game! We’ll make it rain—literally! (laughs) You and I, Juvia, could be a water goddess duo!

JUVIA: (giggling) Yes! We will make this game wetter than ever! Together, we can create the ultimate storm of power, passion, and wetness! Gray-sama won’t know what hit him!

AQUA: (grinning mischievously) Exactly! Together, we’ll drown them all in water and love... mostly water though. I do love to cleanse things!

JUVIA: (noticing something on the screen) Hold on! The blue-haired girl in this game... she looks just like me! I mean, look at her! (points to the screen) That’s totally my hairstyle and outfit!

GRAY: (eyeing the screen) You’re right... she does look like you, Juvia. A little too much, actually.

JUVIA: (blushing, looking at the screen) That’s... so flattering, Gray-sama! But I must say, she has great taste.

KURUMU: (laughing) Ha! Juvia, I think your in-game self is outshining you in the looks department.

MIZORE: (calmly) I’m just here for the treasure... but yeah, that character does look like Juvia. A bit too much for comfort.

KOKOA: (grinning) That’s... creepy. But also kind of funny.

DARKNESS: (mischievously) Oh, this is hilarious! A copy of Juvia! I’m dying to see her suffer! This is going to be the best game ever!

ERZA: (seriously) The character might look like Juvia, but she’d never be as strong as the real thing.

ICHIYA: (sniffing perfume dramatically) Meeeeeeeeeeeen! Such beauty, such grace! Truly, this game is a masterpiece of design and immersion—and oh, don’t get me started on that scent! Divine! Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

[The group faces the choice in the game: battle a monster or explore a frozen temple. It’s pure chaos, with each character’s over-the-top personality shining through.]

TSUKUNE: (laughing nervously) Okay, everyone, let’s choose... uh, monster?

KOKOA: (grinning) Action time! Let’s fight!

MIZORE: (nodding) The treasure is probably in the temple. But monsters do sound fun.

JUVIA: (clinging to Gray) Gray-sama, I’ll protect you from the monster. No matter what happens, I’ll warm you up... even in the coldest storm. We’ll survive together. (winks)

GRAY: (blushing) Oh, Juvia...

DARKNESS: (maniacally) Pain, pleasure, fighting! I’m ready!

ERZA: (smiling, sword in hand) Let’s get back to battle, everyone. This isn’t over yet!

AQUA: (floating higher) And I’ll cleanse this place with my holy waters!

ICHIYA: (spraying more perfume) Meeeeeeeeeeeen! Divine, divine, divine! The fragrance is perfect!

[After playing... the group reflects on their wild adventure.]

TSUKUNE: (laughing nervously) So... what did we think? That was wild.

OUTER MOKA: (smiling seductively) Fun... but I expected more romance, honestly.

INNER MOKA: (smirking) Too sentimental, but the action wasn’t bad.

KURUMU: (dreamily) I think I’m in love with every character. Maybe even three of them!

MIZORE: (calmly) It was cold, dangerous, and a little silly. I liked it.

KOKOA: (grumbling) Needs more action—less kissing, more kicking.

JUVIA: (clinging to Gray) Gray-sama... no matter what happens, you’ll always be my knight. Forever.

GRAY: (blushing) I-I’m just here for the adventure, Juvia!

DARKNESS: (laughing maniacally) Pain awaits us in the next round! I can feel it!

ERZA: (smiling, sword in hand) Let’s get back to battle, everyone. This isn’t over yet!

A fairly short and simple visual novel about some mystical encounters at an inn in the frozen mountains. There is a good sense of mystery and intrigue in this short story that makes you want to find out what is going on.

While I'd like to support and encourage Flaming Firefly as a developer, I'm not able to fully endorse this game or justify the price point it is being offered. Treasure of a Blizzard is an interesting tale with some rather good artwork set in an imaginative world. I enjoyed both the plot concept and manner in which the story wanted to immerse me into the setting with music, art, and style. The problem is that we simply don't experience enough of the the story to become fully invested. The plot is propelled forward so quickly that it feels more like the highlighted summary of a great story where readers dip in and out of key scenes rather than being enveloped by it.

I felt deprived of the sense of wonder we might have come to know had the developer spent more time on building up the world, the plot, the characters, and allowed relationships to grow naturally rather than have them inexplicably sandwiched together. At one point, I simply laughed at how nonsensically the protagonist receives sexual favor from a wolf girl after meeting her for the first time and answering one vague question with an equally vague answer option. Sadly, much of the game experience continues much the same; at times with ambiguous choices leading to instant death.

I was able to clear about half of the game's content in two hours, though time played is about double due to what I am assuming is the somewhat poor translation. I can't imagine how any publisher would allow this to be released if it is originally English. Unfortunately, I found myself unmotivated to complete the story's remaining scenarios. I salute the developer for a fresh and interesting concept and add, with positive criticism, that it just falls too short to be called a complete work and fails even to compete with titles that are available to read at no cost on Steam.

This review may be a little long, but it is intended to provide insight for those of you who are on the fence regarding its purchase.

Three months ago I downloaded the game demo and it was OK, but didn’t seem to promise enough to be worth its list price, especially since some “choices matter” multiple ending games that I’ve played in the past (--cough--Crystalline--cough--) have “time bomb” consequences that may hit you hours of gameplay later after making a “wrong” choice. As a result, I uninstalled the demo and basically forgot about it. Recently Treasure of a Blizzard went on sale and after further procrastination I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I am glad I did.

Review

Based on my history with other “choices matter” games, the first thing I did was look for a guide. There are several. The guide “FULL FLOW DIAGRAM” by derailed_omega_male was sufficient for me to feel I had my “safety net,” (It shows in a very large graphic the flow of the game without detailing what happens.)

That done, I found the game extremely entertaining and admit that when patched with 18+ content it is worth the asking price. The results of the game choices are (in my opinion) occasionally unpredictable, so I suspect that without using a guide, you are likely to end up where you don’t really want to end up. In any case, you can always go through the game once and then use a guide to “clean up” your results. This gives you options.

The written dialogue is clever, but there are spelling and grammar errors. The artwork is good or better throughout and is all in the same style, so there are no jarring visual transitions that I noticed. They could have used another sprite or two for each of the four main characters, since occasionally a particular character’s expression didn’t quite fit the dialogue at the time.

Based on my experience, and what I saw in the guide I referenced, much of the game has some tolerance for making “imperfect choices,” but there are a few cases where a seemingly minor choice will tank your result. Therefore, be aware that you might be disappointed with the ending of your first playthrough if you do not use a guide.

Adult content

This is not an H game, although it includes adult situations and graphics. Each adult scene is only one or two images, so 98% of this game is a choices matter story. If you are looking for an H game, you will probably not enjoy Treasure of a Blizzard. If you want a choices matter game with some explicit, story related content, this game will be right down your alley.

If you don’t use the patch, the game uses both mosaic censoring and some white glowing stars (such as would be “sprinkled” around a picture of a magical item) that are placed over “special” areas. I prefer the “star” censoring to the use of mosaics.

There is a patch available that removes almost all** censorship, but it is not available not on Steam. According to the publisher, they cannot supply the patch either, since it violates some of their local laws. Still, a patch is available and since that patch source was referenced by the publisher (wink), it does seem to be OK to use. I can confirm that it does remove almost all** censoring and does not seem to affect the game or its stability in any way.

** Note: Even with the patch, there is at least one CG I saw that still had the star censoring (in what would otherwise have been a pretty amazing image). I have only completed 3 of the 10 endings, so there may be more.

Recommended.

Recommended at sale price.
My thoughts with some semblance of order.

Its H "scenes" are just to inform the narrative, functional in that sense and little else. If that's what you're here for look else where.

One H Scenes kinda strikes me out of left field as if they had a quota so decided to just insert it there (LOL), seeming out of context and character to me, in what otherwise has fine if usually casual set ups.

There are 10 endings though 4 of them are bad and 2/4 those are generic you died bad, another he winds up a slave for terribly bad judgement, and lastly and most interestingly to me.

The main character having finished his quest with out the connections or motive to farther in life after the fact, lives a down and out life as an alcoholic, dependent on the good will of his child hood friend who held a torch for him before and during this. One day while whispering sweet nothings to his alcohol she comes to visit and confronts him on how he got to this state and than rapes him. I could see this being particularly edgy, out of left field, or cast favorably in another story, but here its none of those things and feels oddly appropriate for the characters seen til this point.

The remaining are 5 different flavors of marriage and one where he actually functions solo without losing sobriety.

Getting each ending when they share 90% of scenes is a chore to be sure, but expected with this medium.

For what it is I enjoyed it. Enough is well executed for a decent highlight reel, but know what you're getting.

The dialogue is actually kind of fun to read. The relationships between characters are very amusing and create a lot of interesting dynamics between them. Art is stellar and music fits in for the most part.

Ahhhh. Some of these plotlines make little to no sense. You can propose to one girl and still end up with someone else because you picked more choices that aligned with her? There's a lot of things that don't add up.

The H-scenes are garbage. If you're going to add H-scenes, at least make them part of the story and provide context behind it. Instead, it's sprinkled throughout the entire novel with the entire dialogue being "..." Like, just don't do it at all if that's all that you're going to provide. It just cheapens the interesting parts of these characters and adds no sort of depth into their relationships aside from "oh hey look guys we touched each other".

It's overall fine but just don't buy it for full price.

Overview

Visual Novel in a fantasy-medieval-like setting where you play as the male protagonist Kang, that is being taken back to the Capital by the childhood friend-now-soldier Lin for the trial of your Father who was captured aiding people, but unknowingly rebels.

Art Style and Sound

Art style anime-to-comic like, with a very beautiful design to it, with varied character expression changes.
Great tracks threw out the game, very ear-pleasing and recognizable, specially if you player any medieval fantasy games ever. No sound for the characters.

Story

Story is pretty well written, engaging, the humor is pretty fantastic, especially Lin.
The game does have Hentei-sex in it but this is where the game has a huge flaw to it that although does not take away from the story, how cool is it, and the fact it is recommend, is out of place enough that is worth mentioning:
The sex in this game, saved from the bathroom peeping scene and the ending i got, MAKES absolutely no sense at all and honestly shoudn't even be in it! Most of the hentai-sex scenes happen out of complete nowhere, making zero sense in the story, and is forgotten by the characters the second it happens like the everyone has sex-amnesia or something.
It's not romantic or hot, it's pointless, unnecessary and out of place. It's aggravating because the story is GREAT enough to stand on it's own feet, so it is super unnesessary to put hentai randomly just to put it! If it ain't intagrated into the story, where it is not only part of it, but it's consequences lingering with the characters, also should be a choice to them (yes they happen whether you want it or not).
My advice to the developers is that you don't need to put hentai in your games if your not integrating into the setting and story. You writing and story settings are great enough to stand on it's own without it! if you you wanna put it in (there a pun here somewhere) integrating to the story, awesome, it'll make the game more intersting and more adult. but putting them they way you did it here it makes the game actually look childish, like a kid trying to hide porn from it's parents.

Gameplay

Gameplay wise it plays like your regular VN model. the UI is pretty nice, helps the setting of the game.

Verdict

+ Very intersting setting and Fantasy like story, with intersting characters and very funny and cool humor moments!
+ Choices in the game, with 10 different ending. More choices in the course of the game would be nice, but honestly no complaints here. the game branches out nicely.
+ I love the humor! in my view humor something hard to accomplish, because if you don't have the knack to it, instead of funny, becomes cringy, which is not the case for this developer. A LOT of funny stuff greatly done!
- Aside from the aformentioned peeping scene and the ending (the one i got on my playthrough), where are the only situations the make some sense, the hentai is pointeless, childish and out of place, not tying into the story whatsoever!

YES, RECOMMENDED

just ignore the pointless throwng in hentai, and you can enjoy a cool, intersting and funny story.

An short, slightly erotic VN with beautiful art content and brilliant soundtrack. The only minus I see are the grammar errors, but it's not that terrible. Since it's gameplay last 6-10 hours, I recommend buying this game with discount, I had luck on 80% one ( 3€ ) and it was totally worth it :D

Hello Steam user who is wondering if this little visual novel is worth their time. I'm going to tell you right now that the answer is yes especially especially considering that it has a nice winter wonderland theme to match with the holidays.

Pros
– Art, the character designs specifically. I feel like everyone's designs were uniquely suited for their characters, like for instance Mei's mischievous smile or Kang's smug grin felt distinctly their own that if you put those expressions on another character it would just look wrong. Also speaking of distinctive, I feel like I haven't seen these character designs before or at least not these exact character designs before. Yes that seems a bit like an overstatement by hear me out. The designs are polished enough so it doesn't look like deviant art amateur hour garbage but not so polished that they give off the generic professional glam look that I tend to see with a lot more big-budget visual novels. It feels unique to this game and that's something I appreciate even if the art isn't dropdead gorgeous.
– The characters. I would nearly appreciate the character designs as well as I do if I didn't like the characters themselves but thankfully the characters do match up to their designs. Of our four main characters, Kang and the lovely werewolf Shan were definitely my favorites but I also appreciated Lin'smoney fetishstick andMei's thinly veiled selfish attitude. These characters felt like characters which is more than I can say for some visual novels where literally nobody has a personality or has the most bare-bones basic personality that you could get off a cardboard box. Everybody had both their strengths and their weaknesses for instance, Kang is a cynical asshat with a serious drinking problem but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about his childhood friend Lin or his father and (depending on your choices, the other two girls problems as well) I wouldn't necessarily call him the greatest person out there but I wouldn't say he's a bad person which is pretty much the sentiment I have for the other characters as well they have their issues but they're not inherently bad people. They'll kinda live in a gray area and most people in real life live there so I definitely appreciated that aspect of the game.
– The endings. I like how this game definitely had a variety of endings as opposed to all of them feeling sane the same like I've seen some visual novels have. The game has ten endings in every ending feels distinctly different. Naturally some of them are the happily ever after endings and of course there are a few endings where you die but interestingly, one of the worst ending in the entire game isn't even an ending where you die... I'm not gonna spoil it but let's just say it's a emotional got wrenching ending the say the least.

Cons
– price. Okay this is probably get to be the biggest complaint but for how long this game actually takes (I think I completed all the endings in four hours though I will admit I was using the skip button after my first initial run) the prices a little steep.
– the music. Okay I actually liked the music. The reason of putting it on the cons list though is because I feel like it was missed used in a few places. Like during this one scene whereMei is really mad at you for explaining her plan for the crystals to Shan what's playing is this bombastic music that's completely distracting when it should of been something more somber or emotion filled music since this is a pinnacle choice in the game aim especially if your aiming for one of her endings. There are other places where this happens but this one was the most glaring.

Neutral
– the story. It's not a bad story but I wouldn't call it revolutionary either. Fairly standard little fantasy romp with monster fights, hints of prejudice and magic but not that all things considered.

Anyway, with all things considered I think I will recommend the game, for the art and characters if nothing else. Though I will say it's probably best to get it on a sale.

At first I actually didn't really know exactly where it was going to go because I first bought this game back in June and didn't actually play it until now but once I was about halfway through it I kind of figured out where was going but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think with a little bit more polish in time I think the story could've been really great and I like the background details on the world. I think the game would've definitely benefited more if there had just been a little bit more world building or even if it was just a bit longer but as it is now it's definitely not terrible. Not every story has to be a suspense filled twist fast.

IMHO a good v.n. has choices that matter and that have hints in the story to help you make good choices. Or the use of common sense will get you a good result. If all you can do is flip a coin and guess when you have to make a choice or use a walk through that is not a good v.n. This v.n. had me flipping a coin constantly. Some v.n.'s seem to believe that you put choices in just to have choices. It also had some translation errors that left me unsure what they were trying to say. Also a negative is that the main character drinks too much. I find it hard to worry about someone who prepares for a dangerous battle by getting drunk.
On the positive side the art is fine. The relationship between the m.c. and Lin was interesting. The other relationships seemed rushed but how does one judge for fantasy characters? It is not a terrible v.n. but I will never get my 4 hours back and 3 endings was enough for me but their are more.

It's a very interesting game, but the finishes are pretty complicated as it's almost the same without too much change on the story.

I liked the story, but there were several written errors that made things confusing.
I still may play through it again though.

hardly get to make any choices. not enough character moments and really smutty for my taste also a boring plot, for the pricepoint it's just not worth there's a lot better on steam for half the price

i really liked this visual novel. the music really fit. the artwork and story was pretty decent. i think the adult stuff was more of a fan service since they were added later. felt a little off but still fine.

The game is not as kitschy as it might look like. It directly/indirectly mentions pretty serious subjects including, but not limited to: dictatorship, xenophobia, uprisings in times of hardship and iron-fisted supression of the uprisings, alcoholism, gambling, betrayal, lies, fear of the unknown, law of the strongest, being forced to do things against your will (including risking of your life and outright slavery) and of course romance.

I didn't expect it, but I actually ended up enjoying the story. (You get to see most of the story from the 3rd person perspective, but you still hear the story including the protagonist's thoughts from the 1st person perspective.) The art and the music also deserve praise. The game has 10 possible endings and a nice collection of CGs. The four main characters are interesting and each one of them is crazy in his own unique way (One is an alcoholic, one is obsessed with money, one seems to be nice but might end up enslaving you due to jealousy, one actsby the law of the strongest and orders you around while threatening to kill you if you don't obey). I played the game until I unlocked everything and understood the whole structure of decisions, which took approximately 40 hours.

H-scenes can be also included by applying an official H-patch, but prepare to be slightly disappointed due to a very low amount of text in the H-scenes.

Background of the story (insignificant spoilers, I'm not even going to black the section out):

The story takes place in a fabulous world with magic and magical creatures. Although magic seems to be rare and some people still don't believe in it's existence. There are at least two major political regions:
One of the regions is a xenophobic dictatorial empire brutally ruled by an iron fist (insurgency of poor population in times of hardship is considered a high treason and leads to executions). Magical creatures don't have equal rights compared to ordinary people. The xenophobia towards magical creatures and witchcraft is especially strong amongst peasants. Other classes of population seems to be a little bit more tolerant towards magic and even have a small amount of magical "blood in their veins".
The other region is a significantly more liberal and more tolerant union of kingdoms. The world outside doesn't know mutch about the union. Many people and magical creatures seems to escape from the empire and migrate to the union, but they rarely return.
The actual story doesn't take place in the kingdoms and not in the empire (or at least not the the cities of the empire), but in the wilderness.

How the story begins (bigger spoilers, but not very big spoilers):

Two former childhood friends are travelling to the empire's capital city. One of them is forced to move to the capital against his will to live under surveillance for a crime of feeding some starving insurgent peasants comitted by his father. The other one is loyal to the empire and is supposed to keep his former friend under captivity. Surprised by an extraordinary cold weather they are forced to seek shelter in a solitary house in order to survive. Soon they are forced to help strangers by risking their lives against their own will. (Or at least the first traveller is.)

Treasure Of A Blizzard
Length: Very Short (<5 Hours)
Number of Routes: 1
Choices: Yes
Failure Possible: Yes (apparently in 2 of the endings)
Characters: Decent
Progression: Alright (abit slow at first)
Soundtrack: Pretty Good
Achievement Difficulty: 0
Additional Thoughts:

A bit slow in the start and full of grammar issues but still rather good.

This game gives you plenty of choices as well as intriguing characters who I would have loved to learn more about. And if you're someone who plays games like these just for the fanservice, I can promise you that this game has plenty of that.

This is an interesting little novella. You are Kang, a young soldier being escorted to the capital by an old friend Lin, who you may have... feelings for. During a blizzard, you end up at an tavern run by Mei, who may have... interesting diversions. The mystical place they are in includes a she-werewolf named Shan who has a harsh reputation, but whose heart you might begin to thaw.

These are the three women you might end up with, depending on your choices. Or you could end up dead. Hopefully, the former.

It is a decent game.

Fun game and makes you feel like you have a choice and the ability to play the protagonist's personality the way you want.

The only think that bothered me about this game was the English translation. Not just poor grammar, the sentence structure often makes it difficult to discern what they are trying to say. Because of this poorly worded translation all of the characters seemed to have the same voice. While it is not "someone set us up the bomb" level of bad, it is still difficult to follow.

The story is good, the art unique and attractive but the wording is a deal breaker. For a visual novel it is hard to overlook problems in the novel half of the genre.

A bit short for the price, and lot of typos and screwy grammer (at least in the english version), but overall a fun read. It has Interesting and enjoyable characters, plot and setting which is more than I can say about a lot of VNs, and also a good amount of custom art. Not outstanding by any means, but if you like VNs, and this one seems like your kind of story, you will prabably enjoy it (Unless you hate bad english).

Update:
After the big text update, things may have changed (its hard to tell), but the grammer is still pretty off; the worst typo I remembered is still there. Even in the same block of text, there are mixed tenses (present, past, and present progressive mainly). The choices tend to not have parallel structure, and some don't even form verb phrases or sentances. The worst example I remember (which I checked is still there) is "Strugle with the word" which is supposed to mean something more like "Struggle onward with the sward". "To blame Lin" is another choice example of something that should be a verb phrase ("Blame Lin") but is clearly gramicatically wrong. I replayed a section of the game (maybe 40 blocks of text) and only found two lines that I wouldn't edit for grammer. Its all close, but hardly any of its auctually correct. It is littered with things like mistking lightened vs lit, "painfully stings" vs "stung painfully", won't vs wouldn't, missing "the" in a few places, comma splicing where ";" or "." should be used etc. Its readable, but the issue clearly remains despite the text update.

Good work! Not without drawbacks but horribly sweet and wonderful. Designed by debutants, invested, it seemed to me, the whole soul, the heart and other body parts in this work.
The undoubted advantage of the game is a bright and sensual panache. The characters and locations was done with love and diligence.
The plot is non-linear and gives scope for acting out the role. All your deeds, from boldly sharp to gently complaisant, have consequences.
The game, like any passionate nature, has its dark side. Somewhere discernible plot holes, somewhere flat characters, somewhere lacked experience, but in general, I can only praise the developers and wish a great things!
