Seriously, don't bother with this. It's hopelessly outdated tech. Nowadays using this rubbish is more hassle than it's worth. The GUI is like something from the late 90's (at best).
If you want to learn Piano in 2025 onwards, I suggest using a modern phone app connected directly to a digital piano via USB (such as "Simply Piano" etc), or just stick to books and actual in-person lessons.
This trash should be removed from Steam. Save your money and put it to better use.
Overpriced, archaic, and completely unnecessary. There isn't even the ability to fix latency in-software; they just recommend you to "play audio out of your keyboard speakers" on the forums. Maybe that was standard affair in 1993, but it's not hard to just add a buffer size/sample rate option to remedy the issue.
Don't pay £30 for this, just buy Albert's All-In-One Piano Course (Level 1/2/3). Yeah, they're books, but they teach you the same stuff, and the whole gambit about the software "listening to what you play" is broken due to the aforementioned latency. The in-built metronome is, again, useless due to latency--just buy a dirt-cheap Korg MA-2 along with the books, or just use a free phone app if you're ultra-frugal. You don't need the low-bit FMVs of the teacher; you don't need to be told which fingers to use; the average person can figure out basic concepts and techniques without needing this software. If you're that worried about technique, a real teacher would show you the ropes; this won't show you jack that wouldn't be explained in a simple Google search.

much cheaper than inperson lessons, and fills the same spot :D
This program freezes and crashes a lot. I haven't been able to complete a lesson.
Maybe A bit Outdated but let me say, this thing teach you much better than current mobile apps that require you to pay monthly.
I have 17 hours in so far and I can play several songs already. i am comfortable reading sheet music now. Not bad for never playing a piano before.
This software is amazing! It started me on the path to learning to play the piano in a way that I never thought would be possible. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I went to the company's website and bought the advanced version, too! During these difficult time, there is no better way to work through lockdowns and other COVID 19 restrictions than spending thirty minutes every day playing beautiful music on the piano, in my opinion!
Nice tutorial class, really recommend for everyone.
This software works not only for adults, but for children as young as 5, as long as you are right there with them.

is there any chance where i can get advance piano lesson and sheet music from this.
It offers me useful information in order to learn piano. I like it, it is well organized. The design might feel a bit outdated but music is permanent, so don't worry about it. I did have a lot of problems learning how to setup a midi controller that would work with the software, but that actually taught me how to connect a piano and make it work with any DAW. I recommend this if you are serious about learning piano, but I also encourage you to get a piano teacher, having someone to correct your bad habits is a must.
Great learning tool. I am no where near a music savvy person, but this had me playing in no time. First half of the program was fairly easy. Hit a plateau a few times in second half, but of course that's when I also made the biggest strides. This went great with the Alfred's basic adult piano lesson book I picked up, breaking down book lessons to a much greater extent. The two are unaffiliated, but I'd recommend both. I'm unsure what my exact hours are for the program, but it is more than displayed, as I use steam offline sometimes. Overall, this has been a great purchase, opening up new avenues I never new existed for me. If someone told me half a year ago I'd be playing piano, I would have chuckled at them. Now I know it will forever be a part of my life. Oh, and I'm thirty one, so it's certainly never too late to learn. Again, the program is great. Looks and feels like something out of the mid-90s, but it gets the job done. 10/10.
I've been using this app along with a few books that I bought online. This has helped a lot. The UI is a bit dated, but it still teaches just as well. It works perfect with Windows 8.1. I'm using a Casio Privia PX-160 with MIDI to USB.
In these 3 months that im trying too learn piano this is probally the cheapest solution for learning piano without a teacher or watching thousand of hours of youtube videos too grasp something out of it.
I will try too make an edit when im further cause im right now at chapter 3 and so far its good nothing really to complain about only what's lame is that the software is old but really use-able im on (windows 10).
Can't say that you must buy this but so far pianu is 60 bucks a year melodics is like 225ish a real life teacher is like 200ish for 10 lessons i mean this is probally the only programm that is what you own.

I would like to get emedia violin, emedia singing and emedia earmaster. So bring them to Steam store please.
Recommended for beginners. You can start to play piano in half an hour even without any experience with instruments before.
It's even better if you have an midi keyboard or a Synthesizer as this program links to electronic instruments and gives you real-time feedback.
i like it alot, i know alittle sheet music and i played around with the keyboard, but this is a really helpful interactive tool to really learn how to play
I bought a keyboard 2 days ago and had no previous experience playing music. I was lost, Where do I start? Where do I put my fingers...Clueless, Looking around on steam after watching some less than helpfull youtube videos I found this lovly little program. 3 hours later and I already have 3 jungles under my belt with a basic understanding of how to read music. I have a Casio Keyboard and Its really nice because I can hook it up to my PC with a USB 3.0 (the square one). The program gives instant feed back and guides you along right from the very basics. I highly reccomend this for anyone looking to get into music.
