The game is really good i have played it but i cant play it on my own VR i have a oculus quest 2 i bought this game and was so happy until realised its not on oculus quest 2
Kind of outdated and doesn't get updated anymore but is still good fun every once in a while
how is it a training simulator but the zombies r not 3d when is there going 2 be a 2d zombie attack....
Absolutely worth the money. the most fun I have had on this VR. I would recommend turning down the brightness though, at least in normal mode.
An absolute blast - combining the best elements of zombie onslaught shooters with simple, intuitive VR controls and gameplay. The "cardboard" zombies are a nice touch, as well, decidedly staying away from both the uncanny valley and more generic zombie shooters. A great game that would get any competitive soul desperately vying for #1 on the leaderboard
Graphics look great.
Audio is terrific.
Lots of Guns, they are accurate and sound good.
Lots of locations and game modes to mess with.
Leaderboards for every game type and gun combo.
Hardcore mode is amazing.

A pretty solid game and easy to pick.
It's cartoon aesthetic is really nice in vr and it doesn't try to scare the pants off you like other zombie games.
The crows foot skill test has been a favorite for a lot of my friends, and makes for a good first vr shooter experience as you can jump straight in try out a bunch of guns, shoot some zombies, all without crapping yourself.
Fun arcade shooting game! Great if you are looking for high replayablity and avoid jump scares of typical zombie games.
What makes this game great is a combination of the following:
-Various game modes
-Good selection of unlockable guns
-Guns work really well
-Combination of bait and explosives add a good element of strategy
-High Scores add a great motivation to challenge yourself
I wanted to enjoy this game. The lighthearted zombie cutouts were amusing, the game looked and felt good, and the sounds of the guns were solid.
However it's just not worth $20 by any stretch of the imagination ($10 would be more favorable, but still iffy).
The game is so bare in it's content, that it's just not that fun after an hour or two.
Yeah I can unlock more guns (Progression is actually a great tool that some of these content-lacking VR games should use), and there are leaderboards... But outside of those there's really nothing.
The gameplay is very bland, the shooting mechanics while acceptable, seriously need some more active "reload" mechanism, and regardless of the change in levels they all feel identical.
VR is pretty bare game-wise at the time of this review, but even still this sort of empty feeling game just feels overpriced.
This is a great HTC Vive experience. The game is complete with regular updates. The developers are very active, responding to the discussion board when people have problems. It’s a great game to play, and a go-to when showing off the Vive as it’s easy to pick up and doesn’t scare people (you don’t have to worry about people slamming the ceiling with your controller). It also doesn’t take a lot of space for room scale, so if you’re like me and have a small play area, this game is perfect. I feel it’s well worth the $20 asking price, especially when comparing to other VR games right now asking more for less.
I like this game, it's another wave based game. but fun, and ran smootly for me. I think you may question the longevity if the price is high for you, and are only buying one or two games. (not sure there are many out that have longevity). But it is probably my favorite of the shooting games I have played on Vive so far.
This is one of my favorite VR games so far. Clear graphics and cool art style, fluid controls and a lot of content.
There are a few different modes, challenges, unlocks, levels, and scoreboards to prevent monotony. It's definitely the best shooter VR experience I've tried. I highly recommend checking this game out, it's a lot of fun.

So I start by tossing out the stereo, place the propane tanks on the table and pick em off, or mow em down either way it's fun as all hell. I just wish I had a grill behind the table to cook up those unthrown steaks.
I've played this longer than a couple minutes and I'll tell ya now this is fun! Looking forward to new modes and a bigger arsenal. OMG A MINIGUN WOULD BE FLIPPIN AWESOME! Except the reload... that would probably suck.
This is the first time I ever wrote a review for any game on Steam (even with 700+ in my library).
I've so far had the vive for a week and have around 70 games/demoes so far.
This is by far one of my top 5 games for VR. If you want a great shooter, this is the one to get - the feel of the shooting rivals H3VR, even though it is cartoon zombies - the graphics, especially when it comes to the iron sights is crystal clear which makes it a lot more realistic to aim properly than in most other VR shooters I've tried so far. I've been in the military for over 20 years now, so I have some experience firing guns, and something about the mechanics in this game makes it feel right.
Do NOT let the cartoony style fool you - this is a must buy for your Vive - it is worth every penny!
Edit: If I could ask for one single addition it would be to allow for manual reload of weapons using your offhand vive controller the same way it is done in H3VR. That would make it all but perfect.
Nephew and I playing this constantly. Great gun physics. Dream feature is a co-op campaign mode where one person goes then the other etc through an awesome storyline. Thumbs up recommend. Have it mirrored out to a big tv and it's a blast to watch too.
Zombie Training Simulator is an addicting wave-based survival shooter. Gunplay is solid with no complaints. I am a huge fan of the cartoon pseudo 2d theme. It creates an atmosphere the is enganging, but, not tense and draining such as a more horror themed survival shooter such as The Brookhaven Experiment. The cartoony theme and low level violence makes this game suitable for older children. The difficulty settings provide a suitable challenge for any skill ranges. In addition to wave-based survival there is also skill based challenges which test the player's ability to cope with a specific circumstance. The progression system and gunplay make this title enjoyable and something you will keep coming back to for quite a while.
Gameplay Breakdown:
Choose from one of the guns on the table and select your challenge. In Survival, you use the resources on your table and explosives littered around the map to make it to the end of the wave. Meat acts as a zombie magnet. Propane tanks and gas cans are throwable explosives that need to be shot. Grenades are throw-and-forget timed explosives. The objective in the skill challenges varies from one to the next.
Pros:
+Cartoony theme is enjoyable and suitable for older children.
+Intense zombie gameplay without a tense atmosphere.
+Multiple maps and skill challenges.
+Progression system to unlock bigger and badder guns.
+Throwable resources and littered explosives respawn at the end of the round.
+Difficulty settings make this title accessible for any player regardless of skill level.
+Theming is great for people who want to shoot massive amounts of zombies but not have to deal with a scary or dramatically tense atmoshpere.
Cons:
-The weapon system is a bit disappointing in that you can't have both the traditional primary (assault rifle, smg, shotgun) and secondary (pistol) at one time. Because of this there is almost never a reason to use the pistols once you unlock better weapons because they are straight inferior. Being able to swap to your secondary instead of reloading would fix this, and, greatly improve gameplay.
-The strategy for survival seems pretty systematic. Throw meat to distract the zombies. Throw explosives into large groups if there isn't one littered nearby. Shoot at zombie heads. Throw more meat when the previous one's duration expires.
-After completion of a skill challenge there is no incentive to replay beyond trying to beat your time.
-Progression system seems to be a bit of a grind.
-Unlocking new guns is only achievable through total zombie kills. Pretty boring, as they could have instead rewarded by beating a certain amount of waves on a map or a certain time/score in a skill challenge.
-I don't know how much additional content is going to be added post-launch.
All in all I feel that this title was still worth the $20.
Very good fun, reminds me of point blank. The weapons are well modelled,the reload is basic,as in automatic reloading i just wish this had co-op play as its a blast in single player.
This is one of those games that looks super average in video and screenshots that you really have to play to appreciate. The guns feel natural to use and killing wooden zombie cutouts is so satisfying when they explode into little bits after a headshot. One of the few games i've experienced in VR where an hour dissapeared on moments.
I was going to ignore this game because it seemed like just another "shoot zombies" game, but after always hearing positive feedback for it, I gave it a try. Well, it still is a "shoot zombies" game, but this is really fun. The feeling is similar to Point Blank with a lightgun (if anyone remembers that from Playstation days). All zombies are made of cardboard, you can shoot them to bits but only headshots kill them.
To make things interesting you have some objects to throw and shoot, like meat to gather them at one place and then throw a grenade. Or throw a gas canister and shoot it mid-air above their heads.
The only kind of progression is unlocking weapons, going from pistols through shotgun to fully automatic rifles (and btw, it's totally weird to hold a rifle with one hand in VR), but it will keep you entertained for quite a while.
