Starting with the faded dream of his missing father, our hero, Edge decides to give his mother's grave a visit. Upon returning, Edge sees his good friend Serenity in a desperate fight with unknown soldiers. Where did these soldiers come from? Why have they been ordered to attack their peaceful village?
After following the trail of these soldiers to the town's historic magic tower, Edge and Serenity discover a mysterious warrior trying to pull the great sword God's Tear from its pedestal. After fighting off this attempt from taking the town's prized possession, Serenity and Edge watch as the mysterious warrior vanishes into thin air leaving even more questions to be answered. Who was this mysterious man? Why was he trying to take the God's Tear?
After this encounter, Edge and Serenity embark on an epic adventure to further discover the purpose of this attack. During this investigation, these two will uncover an ancient myth of their world that foretells a tale of one true hero being chosen to wield the God's Tear and challenge the greatest evil ever to face their time.
Will you be able to unravel the mysterious plot against you and find your father? Will you become the Chosen?

The most generic jrpg on the planet featuring Tenebrous Deathbringer and a bunch of girls in bikinis. It probably wasn't playtested so I'm grinding on a boss that's not supposed to be repeatable so I don't have to actually play the rest of the game. Normally I don't like RPGMaker games that aren't just walking simulators but I deeply appreciate this one not being ATB at least.
it was 50 cents and I'm only reviewing it to blast anime titties at my friends' recommended pages.
Addendum: Having a 10 question quiz in the final dungeon about throwaway plot/setting details in an already forgettable and cliche world is one of the funniest things I've seen in a game in recent memory. Harder than the superbosses.
well it was on the short side max level is 30 i did find one power up, one magic up, and two hp ups so i like that part of the game and that there were 3 side optional bosses who all dropped end game weapon's. the battle arena was also a cool touch.
This game is just so bad. The music has nothing. The SFX is nothing. The world is absolutely plain. The gameplay is boring. The only thing that's got any detail is the portraits of the nearly nude girls. And guess what? That's hardly anything to look at either. I cannot recall for the life of me when I got this game. I got all the achievements in it too. The fighting, you don't need to worry about buffing or debuffing that hard either. Even for a sale, don't recommend this.
Game is 100%'d at time of this review.

Got this in some kind of bundle sale, has achievements that count towards AGCR and perfect games so I decided to 100% the achievements. Was nice and quick, although there is very garbage directions, you cant tell where anything is in the world unless you explore, and most guides to help with things are not very accurate or helpful. Felt like a typical JRPG type eroge although very weak on the eroge, in fact there was basically no nudity, so not sure why they tossed on that tag unless they wanted people to buy it for that sake alone... Surely wasnt why I bought it... Anyway, easy 100%'s but not necessarily a recommended game.
I'm not sure what caused all the tantrum throwing in some other reviews but here is what you need to know:
There is NO nudity and yes, this kind of abusing game tags deserves some stern finger wagging and disappointed frowns. However, I am still giving this a solid thumbs up because its a perfectly good time waster for a lazy afternoon.
Its a low effort, low quality rpg maker romp but it also seems to be on perma-discount for the price of a medium-sized tomato. The story is inane but consistent, the balance is alright, the maps are basic but there is detail in the puzzles and some of the indoor designs.
Overall good fun when you need to occupy half your brain with something easy and relaxing.
