Purchased in the JMJ Films bundle with an individual price of 1.59 - and for that I think the value is great.
It is a fun, unsettling, short film, with decent acting and a concise plot that works.
I think we could have used a bit more gore seeing the guy's head cave in by the van door would have been a nice touch. Or shanty santa taking a shot to the head during the end credits
For the spirit of Halloween and all.
Overall, good short and I recommend.

So much potential.
Had the potential to be a full length film, but ended very quickly and abruptly.
Revenge is something that, while served cold, must be slow cooked for a long time, and this short film failed to deliver the proper preparations and left many loose ends while only beginning to develop characters or backstory. Rising action was minimal, the characters were shallow, and the film ended with the climax, with no falling action or resolution.
I find it difficult to believe that an adult, even a poorly functioning one, would act so extremely to a single past event, and I really think that there was more to this story than was told.
Great little film that's both blunt and sharp and just the right shade of black! As for shortcomings, I can only assume the budget was limited, because I saw nothing that made me question the writing, performances or technical aspects of the film, which is something I can't say about most full-length, features I see at the cinema. Not to say a full-length version of this wouldn't have faults (the larger the canvas the more opportunity to miss a mistake), but if I worked on this film I wouldn't hesitate to add it to my resume. Good stuff all around!
Well, all those you got bullied in their live will enjoy this movie. The theme of this movie is about revenge, the sweet taste of vindictiveness.
This short film is about 15 minutes long.
Gorey revenge with no real depth. The character took physical vengeance on her bullies while they were caring for children (many years after the initial incident). I don't feel like writing anything longer because it was so mediocre.
I bought this on sale to watch with friends as a joke (The title sounded funny). However, while it seemed very experimental, it was an enjoyable and though provoking experience. Not every scene clicked with me, but for such a short movie it did not dissapoint. I am glad this is on steam, so that I can show it to more friends.
Werid, I made a film that was a lot like this in film school. For what it is it's enjoyable, but theres not much lying underneath the surface. If you have been bullied and need something cathartic then this might be what you are looking for.
Allow me to summarize the plot, such as it is. Girl gets bullied in her childhood. Meets her bullies later in life, takes revenge with titular violence. Puts the father of two children in hospital, then proceeds to beat their caretaker in plain view of said children while they scream in terror. Film ends.
Do you really need to know more than that?

I honestly cannot reccomend this.
It had good promise and a good idea, but was poorly executed.
The pacing was way off, the transitions and jumps were done poorly, plus there was only one good performance and it was one character for about 15 seconds.
I get what they were trying for, it just fell flat.
The sound was done well.
There are some good shots, the cinematography isnt really lacking, but thats about it.
Honestly, a horrid intro (I guess?) into a later movie. This should honestly be put on Youtube for FREE if it's purpose is to be an intro into a later movie. It is basically a short. If this wasn't on sale for 75% off and purchased exclusively with steam funds, I would be upset I paid the full price of $2. Thankfully, I only paid $0.49.
First of all this 'short' movie is less than 15 minutes long. In a way I wish it was a full length movie as it had a good story idea behind it. Worth a watch. Hard to say much more without giving away what happens as its so short.
Worst thing about this movie, and it really bugged me, that the glasses the main character wares have no glass in them! I understand this is to stop reflection but it looks stupid! ;)
Though it might have been a bit exaggerated, someone who has been bullied very hard (and i mean with consequences) can surely understand the main characters feelings. I like the moral that bullying can carve deep scars.

i was blind buy it this movie in last steamsale. nothing special about this short movie. everything is so-so. have a plenty of good shot, thought. but you could watch something really similar like this in youtube for free. ...well, it kinda rip-off to charge a short movie, actually.

you have 2$ in your wallet and going to waste it on shitty mostly negative games

you like indiedarling woman with big glasses and zoey deschannel outfit

Ok, it was a good short--a sketch of a good plot. A sketch, as in not fully developed. I am not recommending it though because you do not sell shorts, you sell fully developed stories and films. You put shorts on YouTube as a prelude to your fully developed film. Do not buy.
This is all my personal oppinion so take it at face value:
I got this on sale and it was the biggest waste of $0.99 I have ever made and I freaking loved it. This short film was dark and disturbing, but dark and disturbing in the way good way. The kind of dark and disturbing that you just can't look away from. And I just want to make sure you know that this video is incredibly messed up (and definitely not for the kiddies or those who are offended by violence but I guess you could get that from the title) but, as cliché as it sounds, this film (for me at least) serves as a nicely messed up refresher to the same old AAA trends. As a downside I don't personally think it was worth the $0.99 I payed for it or the regular price of $1.99 (it was only about 15 minutes) but dang was it an interesting buy that I will regret in the best way possible.

It's good. Spoilers aside, the main character isn't exactly the "Best" so its actually a weird short dive into someone who simply cannot move on. This shows how psychologically damaged someone who can't learn to let go can get, ESPECIALLY at the end. Though the post-credits scene is pretty rewarding.
On sale, yeah get it. Its a short indie film thats a bit weird to watch but in a good way.

Besides that, though, it was pretty good. The acting was alright. The story was alright. Really nothing GREAT about the movie, but certainly nothing bad.
Since its on sale for only 67 cents, I definitley recommend it if you've got some extra money to spend from selling some cards or CSGO skins or something.
This is dark, comedic, and gut-punchingly satisfying short film about how childhood bulling can rend the victim's mental state. It's unforgiving, and frankly surprising so much that it made me jump out of my seat twice during its 14 min running time.
Worth a watch if you're like me and have never forgiven your childhood bullies.

the story had some unsuspecting twists, and im usually a person that makes a habit out of trying to find the plot before its revealed, the girl is likable, and the acting is quite good.
this movie is great to get for the price it is, even if its only 15 minutes, they managed to get quite some story in it, compared to many other shortfilms, that are usually filled with alot of techniques to prolongue the movie without any content.
Compared to many other shortfilms this one actually manages to put a real story in it and the production values don't feel cheap..

This review will set aside my opinion on whether or not movies should or shouldn't be sold on steam.. It'll be solely about the movie... err well the video...
The length... 15 minutes, it's more of a video and less of a movie. The "movie" was good, I enjoyed it from start to finish. The acting was decent enough, and depending upon your sense of humor you may very well find yourself chuckling quite often. When the video ends you're left wanting more, which is always a good sign.
The story... a child who was bullied is now grown up and ready to get even with her tormentors. I can't really get into the story more than that for fear of spoiling it.
The acting... it was good enough for what it was, not terrible and the actors and actresses seemed to fit their roles well.
I'd recommend this video if you have a buck or two in your steam wallet and nothing else really tickles your fancy. It'll be fairly enjoyable use of 15 minutes...
