About the Video
Miami Police Department detective and martial artist Kung Fury time travels from the 1980s to World War II to kill Adolf Hitler, a.k.a. "Kung Führer", and revenge his friend's death at the hands of the Nazi leader. An error in the time machine sends him further back to the Viking Age.Director David Sandberg is a Swedish filmmaker with years of experience in directing television commercials and music videos. In 2012, he quit the commercial directing business and focused on writing a script for an action comedy film set in the 1980s, inspired by action films of that era - Kung Fury.

Freaking awesome! Despite the bad jokes, and whatever the hell was going on in the background all of a sudden, this movie is actually pretty cool. Thanks to my friend who told me about this video. I watched this on YouTube, and on Steam. I definitely recommend this to my other friends! :D
So many mindf***ed 80s graphics and effects, cool 80s chrome style text, a raptor that shoots lasors out of its eye, a copycat and giant version of Thor who is a rip off of Marvel's Thor, and the 80s anime like cartoon animation, I love all that! I see a lot of stuff in this video that don't make sense, but you know what I don't care, I enjoyed every moment in this video anyway! :)
Also the 80s. I love the 80s! Except I didn't exist at that time. :(

Well that was certainly something. And with something I mean freakin hilarious.
As someone who grew up on 80s films in the early 90s, who frequented arcades and a Generation Xer, this movie was one of the most entertaining movies I ever saw and would recommend it to anyone. I first watched it on Netflix, and rewatched it on Steam. The oneliners and dry humour were amazing. By the end of the film I was craving for another Kung Fury movie. PLEASE MAKE A KUNG FURY 2! This movie is just pure genius and nostalgia. If I had more than 2 thumbs I would give it a 4 thumbs up.
I loved the VHS glitch effects; furthermore the style of the filming and effects were perfect for capturing that 80s vibe, especially that awesome 80s type music and the video game homages.
This short movie is nothing more but a little masterpiece. Clearly, David is a very talented and creative individual and on top of that, a definitive dry humour genius. Every recommendation for watching this with hope to see more from him.
1980s bad cop action movie with VHS aesthetics.
It has funny one liners, nazis, robots and dinosaurs.
Generally it's a solid 7/10 movie, but I'm willing to add a point for the "knock knock" joke, so consider it 8/10.

Refrences, 80s vaporwave atmosphere and, ofcourse, Hitler in it makes this movie a 10/10. I recommend it to everybody.
Could've used a couple more explosions and some more sex... but David Hasslehoff's tewenty seconds made me forget about my complaints.
By and large, it's all about some Lu-Kang from eighties, which beats up the giant arcade machine and nazi soldiers, in accompaniment with old synthwave music.
