Играйте на стороне полиции
• Применяйте различные методы сдерживания толпы: как пассивные, так и агрессивные.

Множество режимов
• Шестнадцать уровней кампании разделяются на четыре сценария: Кератея (Греция), NoTAV (Италия), Возмущенные (Испания) и Арабская весна (Египет).
• Наблюдайте за сюжетом с обеих сторон: сыграйте на всех 32 уровнях за протестующих или полицию.
• Режим одиночной игры: играйте против искусственного интеллекта.
• Режим противостояния: играйте с друзьями или против них и искусственного интеллекта на одном и том же компьютере.
Создавайте собственные восстания с помощью редактора уровней (будет доступен в предварительной версии)
• Изменяйте окружающую среду, применяя собственные фоновые изображения.
• Размещайте элементы, транспорт и препятствия на нужных местах.
• Выбирайте и размещайте протестующих и полицию на определенных начальных позициях, отдавайте им приказы и меняйте уровень их агрессии.

An interesting concept, with intriguing visuals.
Unfortunately, the game mechanics are sloppy, non-responsive garbage, and seem heavily dependant on RNG factors.
This game would be better off as either a protesters vs. police themed UEBS (Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator) or a screensaver/desktop background for something like Wallpaper Engine.

For some reason, protesters are far more motivated and capable of charging a wall of shields, batons and aggression than they are trying to get past a few scattered cops with single-shot teargas launchers and little else.
There might be massive gaps between the ballistics police that any person with half and brain and a pair of legs could WALK through, or around, yet the protesters will instead flee and completely ignore anything you tell them to do. If you play like 4 missions, you'll quickly get to this point, and be unable to proceed any further. You can go full defensive, you can go full offensive, you can go full passivity, or full violence, it doesn't matter.
The devs explain that when the game "becomes too difficult" that you just need to go back and replay the previous missions over and over "with different strategies" to boost your "publicity advantage".
Despite being unable to unlock any of these "different strategies" (because you can't complete that one awful mission), you roll your eyes and replay the previous missions a few more times as recommended.
But then, irrespective of completing the previous missions repeatedly with "perfect victory" being the result for each instance, the aforementioned "publicity advantage" will instead DECREASE, making it even LESS likely for you to complete that one mission.
I'm assuming you just need to keep replaying that same terrible mission over and over until the RNG is in your favor, but why bother? If you're relying so much on RNG in a game to determine the outcome of action, instead of conscious decisions or strategy, it may as well be a simulation, not a game.
You can keep spamming hotkeys and repeatedly ordering your groups to move or act, and they'll just ignore you or any actual opportunities to be of any use, simply because there is some arbitrary or vaporous instruction in the background keeping you from proceeding unless you're boosting play time statistics.
On top of the nonsensical instructions and game mechanics, the UI is also poorly executed. The lack of responsiveness both in-game and in-menu is frustrating. Having to wait 5 minutes for the game to tally my score at the end of every match, without being able to skip or speed up the process, is just stupid.

pretty good game, a little hard but still pretty good. I assume the mixed reviews are from those BLM types who hate the police
Don't really see the problems with the controls other people had but it might be because of my previous experience games with janky controls.
Sadly a lot of the people that bought this game simply wanted to fantasize about killing protesters, a lot of these people are not exactly smart, so over time the game became less simulation and more predictable.
Other then the section of the fan base that things of this as antifa slaughter simulator, the game is pretty good for what it is and the budget it was made on. I wish riot rts's was a bigger niche genre though. In that world, I probably would not of played this as much. It's a great concept, and done pretty well for like a first attempt in said niche.
I wish they had like an "occupy" inspired mode, I imagine it would work like this. Eliminate the timer, it would be a survival based mode, so your job is to hold the area, the cops job is push the protesters out. The major difference between that and the mode that aleady exists would be the elimination of the timer. Some of the mechanics for this already exist. Such as the summon more protesters wifi thing. I would make that function based of the current protesters score you would normally get at the end of the match. The higher the more protesters show up. One would think the police ability to summon more forces and stronger more lethal weapons in this mode would be based of the violence score but I personally think its more complex then that, but it may work okay for a game. Another way that coulda worked is just simply, the longer the protest goes on, the more cops and the more violent they become.
So thats what i really wanted out of this game, basically a survival mode, and its a little disappointing it never became one, but I would still reccomend this game overall.

Little silly in a few scenarios and everything becomes a bit cut and dry! But super fun game! Worth the money for the amount of time I got out of it.. and I can even make my own scenarios which is pretty cool!
Edit: I bought this game at a heavy discount. Its worth the heavy discount price not the full price.

Game is Borderline unplayable, You can *barely* control what happens for maybe 15 seconds or so, before your men freak out and run off-screen.
There is zero strategy, Nothing works outside of brute force, which fails a couple missions in.
It's a concept I hadn't really seen before, But the execution is nightmarish and genuinely awful.
There was potential, And it absolutely lost it.

I bought this game when it was still in development years ago, lured by the recommendation of a youtuber I follow;
I played it for a little over half an hour, then refused to continue because it was absolutely unplayable. Literally couldn't understand shit about what to do: which unit to select? Where to move it? What to attack with?
I think the major problem of this game is that it prioritises style over substance: the settings, graphical style, and sound design are really good, but the UI and gameplay loop are so terribly confusing.
Unfortunately these latter two aspects make for an incredibly frustrating experience, and what's the point of making a game with great style if it's not fun to play?
4/10 An excellent idea ruined by an awful execution.

Most of the negative reviews seem to be about people who can't figure out how to play the game. Read the heckin tooltips, guys
Game is quite good and interesting because its concept what i've never seen before. But for God sake, pleas repair how police formation works. They randomly retreat form appointed position, run away from grenades (when they have protection). Also riots without fear cross police formations and stand behind police line. Also i have bug due to what i cant change grenade type form gas to shock. And in missions in what as police we must push back riots from circle those situations where riots come across police line and stand behind them simply making pass through level impossible because you need to push back nearly whole riots form circle for 1 minute. But i simply one too many riot to timer stop (I have a bunch of situations a like i 5 seconds left to win but one riot come and timer restarts). Also Assault company all the time bug when i order charge due to what there is no way to push riots because as I said before riots easily pass through police line and stand behind them.
