Complete and utter trash, 1/10, don't give a flying fuck if it's indie or not. Deplorable stinking pile of dogshit. Everything a game could possibly get wrong, this game gets wrong.
Main menu theme ain't all too bad though, that's the only thing I guess. And it has trading cards, which means more XP for me.
Pinball Good
This game is Bad.
Just installed again since 2017. This is one is one my first games on steam, is a good pinball game, nice to enjoy some time.
It works with Proton 7.0-6 on Linux/Debian 11 Operating System.
Funcionou com Proton 7.0-6 no Sistema Operacional Linux/Debian 11.
Graphics and view
Developers prank calling me every night for purchasing this game...
I still like the game though. Overall a well made pinball with a variety of tables that are "actually well designed" sound effects are right on spot and then there's that table bumping which brings some interesting techniques to the game. If I would want to play specifically a pinball game it would be this one.
Horrible registration and activation system (need to copy activation key which can't be copy pasted in to the activation screen), registration is a PII/Data breach waiting to happen. once activated, it gives you another code to write down, god knows what for.
Resolution options are horrible, reminds me of dos/dosbox games, and with the unsupported resolutions comes with it bugging out all your non main screens. after all the stuffing around the game crashes when you try and play. I was over it already by that point and I just uninstalled, didn't make it to the game play.
I can't remember how I got this game, hopefully I got it for free and didn't pay for it.
I don't know much about pinball, be it digital or physical, but I know this feels bad. The first two boards (machines?) are fine, good enough for a dated game, the second two are practically unplayable, and one of the last two (Amber Moon) has amazing music.
Shoots don't line up with return lane, awkwardly bonking off the corner and falling over the slingshots, or are lined up to directly shoot your ball unavoidably between the flippers. And make sure you play with the glass setting off, otherwise you can barely see what's going on beneath. But even on tables I was doing well on, I was pretty bored throughout.
Long story short, I got this as part of a bundle and certainly wouldn't have bought it alone, and I recommend you don't either.
What the f...? Why register "feature" is still in this game ?
Why are you forcing me to provide my personal data and to register to activate all tables?
A R fuc... kiddding me?
Beside these shitty things the game is still fun and VERY playable for me.
Advantages:
- Camera movements, ball physics
- The tables are legible and logically arranged
- Couple difficulty levels with different numbers of balls
- Nice sound effects
- Most time the music is nice for ear
- Extra Ball, multi Ball, Resurection, Loop Combos :)
- Best Tabales: Knights Merchantes, Monsters
- You can feel the atmosphere of good old pinballs
Disadvantages:
- Register shitty thing - u must activate to play all tables
- Graphics is a little bit old
- DirectX errors happen while launching the game
This is abysmal and shouldn't be allowed to be sold on steam.
The amount of information this game asks for in order to play a game that you bought (or get stuck in demo mode) is criminal. I wouldn't give that amount of info for a game I adored, so I'm certainly not doing it for a terrible pinball game.
Avoid this like the plague.
I love Pinball in real life and games. Games like ProPinball Fantastic Journey and Timeshock show how true pinball games should be made. This is bland, boring and not fun to play.
I still like it. Its an oldie but a goldie.
It does not support your modern high resolutions but the basic gameplay is still solid.
Reminds me more of the real thing than most Pinballs out there.
---------------------------------------------
This game is so unbelievable brackish, i don't start to count whats bad and tell you what is good on this so called Pinball Simulator ....
The only good thing in this game is the mainmenu - but only without sound.
Best mainmenu simulator of this century
don't buy this crap, go get pinballfx3 there you get 2 pinball tables for free and if you like it there are another 83 tables you can buy as dlc's but those two tables you can play as much and long as you like.
Please forget this, if you want a great pinball simulator with umpteen choices of table get Zern's Pinball 2, or even better the new 3rd version that has come out. You'll find a great community of players that will readily add you as a friend and play competitions or friendly games. There is also such a huge choice of accomplished tables that even getting a couple of them will keep you playing for hours to learn their secrets.
This in comparison was a mess. The sound was great, but the ball physics felt way off, and they wanted my crredit card details before even allowing me to play one table! Not so much Dream Pinball, more of a nightmare.
Let me start off by saying that I did not aquire this game for free. I paid for it and am glad that I did. There are issues with it though, so let me start with those. When attempting to launch this game it generally won't unless you click Compatibilty Mode. That does the trick for me, but others have complained that it didn't do any good when they tried it, so fair warning. I'm using Windows 7. There are several resolution settings, although there are a few that I've never run across before.
The second issue has to do with registration of the game. The form asks for alot of personal information, but once filled out it works for me, but a few have complained that once filled in the program refuses to run until all blocks are 'filled in'. I didn't have this issue. I've noticed that the game has a tendency to crash if I inadvertently hit the Space Bar when the action gets frantic. Normally the Space Bar is used for the Plunger. If I can avoid that mistake all is well, although it has happened a few times, usually when I have an enormous score built up.
There are six tables, each with a different theme, and various difficulty settings. Novice. Normal. Hard. Expert. I wish the tables were brighter, but that may just be my personal prefrence. The tables are good, but aren't up to the standards set by Zen studios with it's Pinball FX2 game. Plus Zen offers 57 tables with more features and are about to release more. Pinball FX2 sells it's tables as DLCs with one free table. Dream Pinball 3D has no DLC stuff to buy. Many complained (not me) when a bug in the game forced Zen to reset the Leaderboards (not the Local scores though), but Dream Pinball 3D doesn't even have a Leaderboard. Just local scores. You can upload your scores with Dream Pinball 3D, but I have no idea where they go when you do so. This function fails to work alot of the time anyway.
This game is alot of fun though, especially if you like old-school pinball. The game itself is about 8 years old so it's starting to show it's age. The ball physics are good and there are actual goals to achieve, unlike Fantastic Pinball Thrills which has neither. The controls take getting use to. The Left Flippers are controlled by the Left Shift key, and the Right Flippers are controlled by the Enter key. Gameplay is solid.
The High Score screen has scores already entered as default scores to aim for. If you don't at least reach the lowest high score then the game will momentarily display your score beneath the high scores. As you achieve higher and higher high scores the target scores go up. So it becomes more and more difficult to reach the minimum, assuming of course that you never improve. Learning the goals of each table and how to achieve them is key. Some tables, like Amber Moon for example, have more than one way to increase the multiplier.
I like it. Currently 38 friends of mine own this game and 4 want it. I believe I have logged more play time than any of them. This may have to do with the difficulty some have had getting this game to work. Use Compatibility Mode. If you still have issues then try different resolution settings. The game was developed by A.S.K. Homework Game Development, who also developed Zaccaria Pinball for Android devices. This game has also been released for the DS and wii.

Why steam... why do we have this crap online ??
You need to activate the game before unlocking it for 100% ?
I allready buyd it .... and we have steam .... remove these things.
Or at least let people play the full game if they buyd it.
So far I played it.... looks like crap... and sounds are horrible...
Pinball on a digital platform needs to give you best feeling you can have with pinball games.
I played a lot of pinball games .. only this one makes playing digital pinball game a freaking joke !!!!!!!
What a waste of money.... :(
Save yourself the horror and buy something else for the money.
Try the Pinball FX2 game & tables if you ask me the best simulator you can buy

Broken. Wouldn't even start. Also had to signup with email and address. DO NOT BUY THIS PEICE OF CRAP NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT IS! STOP SUPPORTING AWFUL DEVELOPERS!
More like Nightmare Pinball. Can't get past the registration page - silly game wants ALL of my private info. Uninstall....thank goodness I only paid $0.69 for this stinker.
Broken. Tables do not load, game just freezes. Bonus: you have to register with email. Avoid.
Video of trying to play here: http://youtu.be/huTQ9tE2OnQ
WORST PINBALL GAME OUT THERE!!!
Won't even let you register, locking the full version of the game, which you just paid for...
The game isn't even fun itself.
I feel bad for the people who bought this for full price!
Definately better pinball games that are FREE!!!
Don't even waste your money with this game
Plain awful!
Registration requires full name, adress and email, why?
Graphics are horrible, can't even figure out how to change resolution, menu lacks a safe or apply button, menus overall yukky and uncomfy.. took me 2 minutes to lower the volume of the (mediaocre) music.
Running the game at 1280x720p, I get 18fps...
Table designs are blegh and obscure, ball physics are odd, to the point of ludicrousness.
Not worth a single cent.. played it 10 minutes or something, and I want that time back!
Do you like pinball a lot? Like really can't get enough? Desparate for new tables? Well this is maybe 97 cents worth (which is what I paid for it). 2 tips: uncheck the register box so you don't have to give them your name address and life history, but can still unlock the game, and turn off all the fancy graphics options. With most games when you turn everything to max settings it's a good thing. Not so with this game. The bloom effect is blinding and the glass reflection makes it impossible to see anything. shut it all off. The main reason I can't recomend this game tho is because it doesn't seem to support widescreen, even tho there is a 16:9 setting in the options.- and the resolutions they give you to choose from seem random and strange. Don't bother, I like pinball as a distraction, but i was bored with this one right quick....
You get exactly what you pay for if you buy it for $0.97. The physics are wierd, the music is mediocre at best, the sound is equally mediocre, the way menus are setup confusing, and it doesn't support HD resolutions. I regret spending even a dollar on this game. Stay away.
Awful. I was expecting a nice pinball game to pass the time, but this game is just downright horrible. The support is beyond bad, sloppy physics, dreadful sound, lame artwork, dull gameplay, and an undoubtedly garbage options system. It lacks widescreen support, and it has registration issues which limits your experience. I enjoyed pinball as a kid despite being crap at it, and was hoping to get some enjoyment out of this, but it's literally impossible to. Go with other titles such as Pinball FX2 or Pinball Arcade. This isn't worth a cent. 1.2/10.0
Highly NOT recommend.
So much is just not right with the game. First off, there are several pinball 'games', but they seem so much like the same game, with altered 'themes', but the performance is so similar. Example, they all have bonus multipliers 2,4,6,8,10. None of them have a 'skill shot' start to speak of, and that all seem to have the same voice narrating.
The biggest complaint I have about the game is the camera views. It comes with a seisure warning, for a reason. The logic behind 'changing your chosen camera angle' gets more than frustrating. Multiball has no sense of capturing a ball. A target gets hit & it 'locks' a multiball, but the ball continues from that spot, so no lock takes place (In every version of the game).
So, say you hit multiball & one of the several balls goes into an area that the AI thinks you should be watching in some super-nifty view, then the camera angle you chose goes away & if another ball is headed toward your main flippers, you'd better be good at using the Force, because it won't be on your screen. Then, say for one of the many times during the game you want to toggle back to your prefered view ... well there seems to be no rhyme or reason to what order they cycle through. And while you can choose your hot key for camera view, it won't go straight to your chosen view, it cycles in some awful order.
I could go on about how there are odd things like flames on all 5 pinball tables (even the underwater version). But I'll stop here, and suggest you move on down the street to another game. I bought mine 90% off with a Steam 'reward' for completing a trade card set, but it was one of the most hideous gaming experiences of my life. If I was paid $15.00 to try it again for the same time I have used it for $1.00 . . . I'd turn down the cash.
I'll be honest with ya. I only got this because I got a 90% off coupon from making a badge and thought $1 for pinball is a good deal. Sadly, it still felt like a ripoff.
First thing that happens when you launch this is you have to register the game and include stuff like your full name, email, phone#, etc. If you don't do this, you won't be getting the full game you paid for. After taking a few minutes to fill in info I was sure wasn't gonna be used for anything [Update: They wanted all that stuff to send me newsletters for their other stuff. Yeah, no thanks.], I was ready to play this...only to have the controller not respond to the game. At first I thought you had to change the input from keyboard to controller. Nope. Game doesn't support controllers. I wouldn't make a big deal about this if this was originally released in say, 2001. This game came out in 2008. Inexcusable.
Now for the gameplay. The game comes with 6 tables of different themes. Now 6 good tables would be worth the $10 price. These 6 didn't feel like they were worth the $1 I payed. Gameplay just felt so dull and slow that I didn't even bother to play the tables seriously. The bad music and camera angles didn't exactly help either. This was just a mess all around. After 1 playing of it, this was uninstalled and never played again.
If you want to spend $10 on pinball, get either Pinball Arcade or Pinball FX and spend it on the packs. Sure you might get less tables, but they'll actually be worth it.
