Stream with friends who only need a phone to play along!
Oh hey, my profile picture is one of the devils from The Devils and the Details. Either way...
Tl;dr of my mini-reviews of each game: This pack is still very solid, even though with some games there are small "ughs".
---------------
Quiplash 3: Aesthetically one of the more unique ones of the Jackbox series, featuring claymation-style elements. Quiplash is Quiplash, you fill in the blanks of sentences and make a ha-ha. The only caveat I have with this version is the music - in the soundtrack it's fine, but during gameplay, it's intimidating even... but it's easily brushed off.
The Devils and the Details: Hhhhhhhh - mixed feelings. It's a group game where some tasks are independent, some require teamwork. You fill a bar with the tasks you do and move to the next day. Here, it really depends on the group of people you are playing with - playing with people other than those that you have vocal contact with is borderline impossible, just because of the teamwork-required tasks. Even then, this is something I occasionally play with a group of people and get joy out of it. Occasionally = far less than the other games, but still played.
Champ'd Up: To this day, still probably the best drawing game in Jackbox Packs. You draw characters based on a prompt, and then get a rival whose appearance you see, but don't know the prompt. Then they fight each other. It's so simple in concept, but really fun. Also, bonus points to the music - Andy Poland went hard and I appreciate it, really digging the electronic music mixed with march band drums. Kinda reminds me of Death Grips' earlier works through that.
Talking Points: Vocal improvisation, the game - speaking is mandatory in this game, and so, should be played with those with vocal contact. You get a topic for a slideshow, but don't know the pictures that a different player chooses for you. This game usually gets extremely restless and out-of-bounds, which can be really fun at times. Freeplay-mode for this is an odd choice.
Blather 'Round: This game is one of my go-to games when introducing Jackbox to other players (others being Tee K.O. and Guesspionage). You get a thing that you have to explain about with using cryptic words, and give "praise/discipline" to player-given answers (in other words, you can agree, or don't agree with a word to lead others onward). Fun and engaging, best with a big player group. This game should've gotten the Freeplay-mode, but I guess such wasn't picked up for the potential difficulty of giving custom words the prompts that the game gives you?
Game so good we got the cops called on us
Got so angry in The Devils and the Details that I beat my irl family members for being selfish
This one is my favorite party pack! It's games are so well made and my friends and I always laugh while playing this.
A really great Jackbox Pack! Any pack with a version of Quiplash is already pretty great but this one has one of my personal favorite drawing games in Champed Up, a good talking and social game with Talking Points, and an engaging co-op experience with the Devils and the Details. Blather Round was my least favorite of the pack but it's still a good time and might be your favorite depending on the group you play it with. Can't go wrong with party pack 7!
That was the most racist, hateful, reputation damaging session of the century.
11/10
all games are good in their own right but DATD is really hectic and hard to follow if youre playing through a call
The Jackbox Party Pack 7 is the Jackbox game I have the most time on out of the Jackbox games that I have, and for good reason. This pack is easily one of the best in my opinion. Even just Talking Points, Champ'd-Up, and Quiplash 3 are already worth your money. I do think it's annoying that all the games in this pack could be as good as the headliners, but I'm having fun, so I don't mind all too much.
Great game, keeps my friends and I entertained for literal hours. Even if someone says "i cant do improv" or "i cant draw" etc. etc. we make them play the game and they always end up having fun. Great game pack, lots of great memories.
It's Probably the best Jackbox. But Idk, I haven't played any others
riwaj does not like this gamevery much. please respond and fix the game so that rwaij likes the game again
i had so fun i exploded and died
Maybe the Best Jackbox pack out there
good tastes like chocolate.
The Jackbox series as a whole is exceptionally fun and can be really enticing and hilarious!! Games like Quiplash 3 and Blather Round are excellent party games which can totally get a few laughs out of people. The Devils and the Details is an intriguing game in the Jackbox saga as players work together rather than against each other, which is creative concept! Champ'd Up, too, is an excellent game for artists or for just a few giggles here and there. Overall, I'd be very happy to recommend the Jackbox Party Pack 7 to anyone, as the games are extremely versatile and well thought-out! Thanks so much, Jackbox team.
Great party game
The only series of games that will make you suffocate from laughing too hard at a list of all your friends felonies.
11/10 would buy again
best party game
fun to play at parties, or with family. highly recommend this game for parties and family.
was convinced joker mpreg is awesome in talking points
This is an incredible collection from Jackbox Games. Of all the packs, this is the one that we put the most hours into. There are no duds in this pack and some of our absolute favorites are here as well. If you're on the fence about which Jackbox pack to start with, this is a great choice.
* The Devils and the Details - This is probably my least favorite game in this pack, but it's still a fun time. Players all take the role of a family member in a family of devils and have to perform various tasks on their device within the time limit. Most of the tasks make progress towards the shared goal, which is the baseline score that all players receive at the end of the game and is required to continue to the next stage, but as you're evil you have the option to take on selfish tasks that contribute no progress towards the shared goal but rather just add to your personal score. The goal in the end is to have the highest score after all. Overall, it's a decent game we've played a handful of times, but it can get repetitive and there isn't much room to add your own creativity or comedy to the game.
* Talking Points - This is a game about giving a PowerPoint presentation. One player gives the speech while another player runs the slide deck and teleprompter, choosing 3 different pictures and prompts that appear for the speech giver to work into their presentation. Speech topics are all written by players at the start of the game and then given out randomly to each other to choose from. This game leads to some funny moments as the speakers have to come up with some way to tie some unrelated images and prompts into a speech. Great if you enjoy impromptu comedy. The scoring system isn't the best, but this game is more about making up funny speeches than it is about serious scorekeeping. This game does have a bit of complexity to the rules though and might take a few tries for new players to fully understand.
* Blather Round - This is one of my personal favorites. It's a guessing game where each player chooses a person, place, or thing prompt from a set of three, then has to get the other players to guess the prompt using only a very limited selection of words. You craft sentences in the form of "it blanks the blanky blank" where the game gives you two columns of maybe 10 words each to fill in the blanks with. You have to be creative with the limited options you get. This game is relatively easy to pick up for new players, but it also provides a solid challenge and really makes the guessers think.
* Champ'd Up - This is a drawing game where two drawings are put up against each other and players must vote on their favorite. In the first round, each player is given a text prompt in the form of "Draw the champion of blank" and must draw a picture that represents "the champion of blank". In the second round of drawing, each player is shown one of the other player's drawings and must draw a challenger without knowing what the original prompt was. Then, in the voting round, the players are asked to "choose the champion of blank", but as the second round drawings didn't know the original prompt, they can miss the mark entirely leading to some chaotic and hilarious moments. It's one of my group's favorite drawing games. The only downside is that in a small group, especially only 3 players, you have a single person's vote deciding the winner of each matchup. This isn't a problem with larger groups.
* Quiplash 3 - The third installment of Quiplash, this game asks players to type witty responses to various prompts and then players vote on their favorite quips. It's simple, it's funny, and the third round Thriplash lets you enter three line responses which allow a bit more creativity. One of the best games to play to get new people into Jackbox due to the simplicity, but again it's a game that is worse with a small group due to the voting mechanic. In a 3 person game, only one player decides the winner of each matchup. Protip - use emojis in your quips. A lot of players don't realize you can do that. This is one of Jackbox's best games and almost always gets played at some point during every one of our Jackbox sessions.
I like the fighting one. It's very funny and I draweda big peen
We laughed so hard people were literally peeing their pants.
fun...fun fun fun cried
its fun to play with friends

This is some peak Jackbox Games right here. You got Quiplash 3, it's a classic. Imagine cards against humanity, but you make up your answers instead of it being cards.
I gave a presentation on Sigmund Freud and how he believed that women had penis envy at my girl best friend's sweet 16.
Devils and the Details is alright :)
Champed up allows for some pretty funny moments, and random inside jokes to occur :)
Blather round is a fun one! Use your brain!!
Overall, 8/10
