The first Kočkovské rolls were baked on 12. August 1993. Nowadays, the rolls are a symbol of Kočkovská bakery and are considered one of the best in Slovakia by professional bakery circles.
From the very beginning Kopek chose the more difficult way to reach the customer - producing products using traditional technology based on natural yeasts and to distribute the products through its own stores, not through middlemen and supermarkets. It is a proven, but more staff-intensive and costly concept to reach the customer with the quality and freshness of bakery products.
Between 2008-2009 and 2019-2020, the bakery was expanded and modernized. Currently, with our equipment and we are one of the most modern bakeries by trade in Slovakia and we are a referee bakery of the supplier of Technopek bakery machines. Also thanks to our partner D. Gerbel, who is a trained technologist and has been working in bakeries all over Europe for 25 years, we always have the most up-to-date trends and technological knowledge in this field at our disposal. Our employees have received training not only in Slovakia but also abroad.
