This server will try to:
- Represent (loosely) the Blue Sun sector of the
Firefly/Serenity universe
- Try to capture the implied class struggle between
core & rim planets
- Force commerce by:
1. Only allowing asteroids in the Uroborus belt
2. Have some unique ore only available in asteroid
belt that the core needs?
3. Have some unique component or item needed by
the rim that is only manufacturable in the core?
4. Make superconductors require special ore or make
them only available at trade station?
To start, a player must choose whether to spawn in
the core, known as the Union of Allied Planets (UAP),
or in the rim. The core trade stations are on the planets
Merridian and Lilac. The rim trade stations are in space,
located in the Uroborus asteroid belt. They are run by
Blue Mining Inc (BMI) and are located in the areas
named Ashlands and Blueblood.
This group is for anyone that wants to play on "The Verse" Space Engineers server. The Verse is a PVE server, with RPG elements. (There may be PVP in the future) There will be an economy mod, trading, mining and of course, ship building!
The war is over, so don't be trying your luck against an Alliance capital ship. You WILL lose. But just because it's PVE doesn't mean there is nothing to shoot at. Quite the contrary. There are plenty of reavers and pirates to kill, ("It's good to hang pirates. Old Viking custom.") or get killed by. The pirates will act as usual but the reavers agressiveness will be randomized. Every reaver will not attack every ship it finds but if one comes after you, they will never give up until you or it are dead.
Most of the planets & moons of the Blue Sun sector will be here. The following documents should be considered as reference material for names and distance from the sun, not an actual map of this server. Compromises for a stable server were required. The documents are:
