I am working on my own tests, but I know that many of you have the ability do something with this.

Do you want Quake to die? I don't. I've been playing for more than 2 decades.

We need new players, and Quake veterans want something they can practice with that isn't just annihilating newbs or sweaty battles w/ similarly skilled opponents all day.

Have always loved the id games, but I've always felt that Quake was missing something. Infected mode wasn't cutting it as a Zombie mode. NOTE: This is NOT based on Infected.

Introducing Zombie Quake (GaumbiezMod) - the project name derives from Gauntlet-Only Bots and Zombies, Gaumbiez - fast moving zombie-like bots that are modified for lunging effects, speed enhancements, and overall fast-thinking. This is in no way associated with Infected, and there is no ability to play as a Gaumbie.

Equip the Gauntlet to get a speed boost, in case you need to run away. Stay moving, keep your eyes peeled, and your ears open. These Gaumbiez are quite aggressive. Most gametypes will have RailGun headshots enabled w/ modified enemy heads for easier aiming.

Overlays at least 4 popular gametypes, like FFA, TDM, CTF, and CA (can use TDM config with infinite ammo and starting items, but not official config yet), as well as some of their hybrids.

gmbzbase.cfg Eradication is the original config created in order to provide a zombie-style hording effect in popular Quake Live gametypes. For FFA, TDM, and CTF gametypes, of which scoring is weird, but just stay alive and frag like crazy. Primary config.

gmbzsv.cfg Survival Mode is about 8-12 Gaumbiez, no ammo, and just an overall focus on keeping people moving, aiming, and aware of their surroundings. Has only been tested in FFA, but should work fine for TDM and CTF gametypes. Primary Config.

gmbzov.cfg - Overrun is a mode that PDQ-Bugswat has been working on that allows for a large number of bots that are a easier to kill, and there are perks for the players because it can get a little hectic. NOTE: This mode can be enabled for all Gaumbiez gametypes. Can be used over all major gametypes. NOT A PRIMARY CONFIG. Should be used in combination with the other modes.

CTF Gametype - Supply Runs is an overlay of the CTF gametype, of which allows for a unique experience for those that like flag/supply retrieval. Use the Eradication, Survival, and Flesh Frenzy configs.
