We were members of the old Sky9 forums (Sky9 being a group of Flash game developers, known for games such as the Raze series). However, we've distanced ourselves from them - changing our name from sky9gamers to Port Frank, so this is effectively a fully blown out gaming community.

The name comes from the expression "port franc" - a port in which ships are free to transit without fees or restrictions of any kind. That's also, more or less, the spirit of our community.
