NSSR is a community that was originally founded by two people that go by the name of Nitrosis (NS) and Sharp Eyed (SE) which formed the original name of us, NSSE. Shortly after this Team Fortress community was formed, another user was administered rights, he went by the alias of Rupert the Dingo and the ‘E’ at the end of the community name was exchanged with an 'R' - That’s the meaning behind NSSR as we know it today.
Since then the community has expanded with time, it has always been focused on Team Fortress 2 and more specifically on the cp_orange maps and its variants before the most widely known rendition of the community settled on ‘skyward’ variant.
Originally it was an only-crit server, but this was later changed due to complications such as weapons having balance issues when only critical hits were fired.
However, NSSR was never just a server. The server was much like the walls of a home, they are only the foundation of what could be. It was you, our community, which made us what we are today. For that, we’re incredibly grateful. From all of us, thank you.
What now? Is NSSR dead? NSSR has indeed been through a long patch of inactivity as some small changes to the server caused a dent and a crumbling in the strength of what we were. It's up to one of the administrators, as well as the community members itself, to revive what this community was if they desire it.No information given.No information given.
