The CS:GO ranking system is an Elo system, the same system used in chess rankings. Elo is no longer the best ranking system due to vast improvements in computational power. Elo works through a system that says out of (for this example) 10 games against a player that is one rank below me, I am expected to win 6. My ranking doesn't move so much based on any individual win/loss, but instead based on how I do vs. what is expected. So if you play against a guy 3 levels above you, and you kill him 2 times and he kills you 8, your rank will go up if you were expected to only kills him once They don't say what goes into the Go Elo system, so I am not sure if it is based on kills or round wins or match wins or what, but that is on purpose so people can't game the system.idkNo information given.No information given.
