- No information given. The story thus far:
The quest began as many do, at an inn in a small village. Having chosen to rest there and gathering supplies after their last adventure, our heroes soon learned that some local orphans had gone missing. After securing a reasonable bounty from the mayor, as well as an independant contract from a wealthy local merchant for the specific safe return of his son, the party made its way to the orphanage in search of clues.
Once there, it was discovered that the building had been reduced to ruins. With some effort a hidden basement was found, which appeared to have doubled as a torture chamber, as well as the spider-indfested body of the orphanage's former head mistress.
Following the tracks of the assumed attackers, and relying on local rumors of a nearby Drawren mine, the party stumbled upon an intoxicated Ogre was met who was in search of his wedding ring. However, after a botched introduction, the party quickly found themselves at odds with the giant. After a long and harsh battle, the warrior Groot was able to shatter the beasts leg, and chop him down to size. During an attempt to parlay, fearing potential retribution for the humbling, Sigyn the rogue and Mab the cleric launched one final treacherous attack against the giant, slaying it. Unfortunately, this ended up pitting them at odds with Groot and Taeros, who had been sincere in the attempt at peace.
Further along, a young girl matching the description of one of the lost children was discovered. Sharing a history with her, Sigyn and the girl quickly bonded, and she led the party to the mines, which she now waits outside of with a borrowed knife.
Once inside the mines, the enemy was discovered to be humanoid-reptilians, with some acting as taskmasters and the others as slaves. After dispatching the front guards and freeing two of the slaves, the party found they were unable communicate with the dragonkin they had freed directly. Nearby, a massive statue of an ancient and evil god was then found, which told the party enough - that these dragonkin must be stopped at all costs!
The party now waits to continue their adventure into the mines...
Scheduling:
One of the common issues in trying to form a tabletop group is finding a day and time that everyone commits to to being available. In the comment section below, I ask everyone interested to post their available times and days, and to commit to being online then for a minimum commitment of 2 hours, maximum of 4, once every week, once a specific time for gaming is chosen.
If this is not possible, then please say so in the comments with a listing of your solution if you wish to keep playing. If not, that's OK, but please say as such so we can work to find a replacement.
Thank you, and hope to see you in-game soon!No information given. No information given.
