Dota (Defense of the Ancients) is a Warcraft 3 mod initially made by Eul. Later, Guinsoo took over Eul's work. He then passed the mod to IceFrog, the current developer of Dota and Dota 2.
Dota 2 is an upcoming game developed by Valve.
Dota 2 Beta has already been released.
