HonkHonkClown Club Now offering classes in Punk Rock Archaeology, Rooftop Orienteering, and Kick Flip Jiu-Jitsu Precipice of War is a long-running forum-based Role-Play spanning over 150 pages of in-character play, and approximately two years of RP'd lore, with 51 years of background lore.
Precipice of War is set in an alternate 1970's, where the First World War dragged on longer. Claiming with it, a number of of the players that would'v been responsible for the Second World War. As such, the coming of the Second Great War has been vastly delayed. The question concerning Europe now being how to best preserve their domination, and to hault the shift of power from the West to the East; with the emerging Great Powers such as China being able to match European prowess blow-for-blow.
Players are given the option to play as a nation, and as such taking responsibility of the people within and all the power to create and write the stories within. Alternativly, players may choose to operate as corporate or other organizational identities, or even as a soul citizen of this alternate world. Players are thus expected to take care in operating and to make significantly literate posts, founded my their own research where possible; it's no uncommon for posts to exceede several thousand words.
Started in 2011, PoW has enjoyed well over a year of activity. It has since moved from its birthplace that was the Official Spore Forums to the Official Minecraft Forums.
