Why Create a GroupThis is for all the Vanguard fans who want netplay and a more appealing select screen. I love anime and I have played a ton of fighting games and this game has to much potential to let it die as a normal indie game.

GameplayThis is a extremely fun fighting game that really feels like the arcade game king of fighters. In game, the graphics are the most beautiful thing i've ever seen in a while. It's very smooth but like any masterpiece its not truly perfection. You can see where the game has been rushed in the select screen and the menu. Also the game is moving and feels alive at all times but the cutscenes seem lifeless and have no motion to them. The game was made by one man so i cant hate on it at all. If anything I should be very happy about how much Sugeno was able to do. The feel of an old arcade fighter is why I love it and I hope anyone who gets this game can have tons of fun.

What does Vanguard need1. Netplay - A huge aspect of fighting games are there online. Unfortunately Vanguard does not have a proper netplay yet but there is still a way to set it up with NTSP. Before there was a campaign that tried to raise money to start a net play and they asked for $10,000. This is crazy but in the end they only got up to $790. This is outrageous to ask the community for help to get a feature that should have been done long before this. Set up for MTSP

2. Good DLC - Done right, it gives you a chance to revisit or get fresh perspective on a game, without having to use mods or buy a new game with the same experience. As of now there are two DLC's we must pay for and they are a lot more than they should be. As a deing community we need to start thinking about having a dlc for maybe three girls at once. The Hilda Rize dlc broke the whole game, the game is not too hard but when you play her its not even a game. We shouldn’t be fed this and accept it because we should be getting patches for this stuff. eigoMANGA stepped up with the release of the lilith dlc but even then we should had gotten a second girl with the same treatment as lilith with a new stage, theme and a new ending path.


3. Steam Achievements - It would give more replay value. Also it would help expand the community by a large amount. Another thing is that there should be a large amount of them, 43 or so of them so that people don’t complete all of them in one sitting and that it is need to work hard to get the last few ones.
