Willkommen bei for UNCUT!

for UNCUT! ist ein im Jahr 2009 gegründetes Projekt, das über Schnitte und Geoblocking von Computerspielen informiert. Neben detaillierten Einblicken in die Medienregulierung, mit Fokus auf Deutschland, tritt for UNCUT! für einen offenen, besonnenen Dialog ein – vor allem zu der von Moralpanik geprägten „Killerspiel-Debatte“.

Wir sprechen uns insbesondere für das Ende einer ausufernden Zensur-, Indizierungs-, Beschlagnahme- und Geoblockpraxis aus, der sich auch Volljährige beugen müssen und die ohne belastbare wissenschaftliche Basis steht. Unserer Ansicht nach sind Aufklärung und Förderung von Medienkompetenz einer überholten, gar kontraproduktiven Verbotspolitik vorzuziehen und am Ende die bessere Lösung für den Jugendmedienschutz.
