Empires: Dawn of the Modern World is a history-based real-time strategy computer game developed by renowned game designer Rick Goodman (known for being the lead designer in games such as Age of Empires and Empire Earth) and Stainless Steel Studios. Released on October 21, 2003 and considered an unofficial sequel to Empire Earth.

The game became available on Steam on the 31st of August, 2007. Unfortunately Activision removed the game in 2009.

It is a great classic and really deserves its place in the Steam catalogue. I'm certain there are a lot of people who would like to see it on Steam again. If we get enough people to join this group then we might get Activision to rethink what they did and put it back on Steam. The retail version has been sold out for a long time and it's rather difficult to get a used version of the game.
