The purpose of this group is to discuss Donald Trump, his positions, policies, chances, and the election in general. Please feel free to post a comment or start a discussion!

Positions:
• Donald Trump supports building a wall on our southern border with Mexico, and having Mexico pay for it through tariffs on Mexican imports. He has advocated a 35% tariff on all Mexican imports entering the United States if Mexico does not help cover the costs of the wall. In addition, Trump has called NAFTA a disaster for American manufacturing and favors its repeal.
• Trump is committed to eliminating ISIS through taking the oil fields held by the terrorist organization. He believes that American oil companies should be allowed to extract Iraqi oil, and have much of that money allocated to wounded warriors and veterans of the War against Terror. Trump does not believe in nation building, and thinks that the United States can no longer afford to be the world's policeman.
• Russia will be seen as a potential ally in a Trump administration, as Trump believes that he could work well with Vladimir Putin. Trump thinks that Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Germany should be paying the United States for protection. He also favors China taking a stronger stance on North Korea.
• Trump is against accepting Syrian "refugees" into the United States, and has vowed to deport all that have already arrived here. Trump also supports a temporary ban on all foreign Muslims from entering the United States, until a system that can reliably differentiate radicalized and non-radicalized Muslims can be devised. He has vocally called for safe zones in Syria to be developed, and dubbed Merkel the "destroyer of Europe and Germany" through her liberal immigration policies.
• Trump's tax plan eliminates the death/estate tax, and generally reduces taxes for the middle class and businesses. Individuals making $25,000 or less will pay no income tax, and couples making double that will also be paying no income tax. Specifics on this can be seen on his website.
• Donald Trump is committed to eliminating super pacs.
• Trump wishes to renegotiate many of our trade deals, and favors repealing Obamacare and Common Core.
• Donald Trump supports upholding our Second Amendment rights, and enforcing laws already on the books in order to curb violent crime. He is in favor of establishing mental institutions for the nation's mentally ill.
