Basic facts: WE are the players, WE all like it quite hard,and WE are the one setting the unwritten laws wich all ends up in: W E create the mood on servers and the lust of playing. There are no police. So "Who we gonna call"? - No one, just behave.

On our servers, you'll be notified of new PB's (Personal Bests), New Track Records and Fastest Laps.

The amount of information can sometimes be too much when there is many players, so it is now limited depending on the current session...

PRACTICE SESSION- All timing information is ON; (inc. welcome messages etc)

QUALIFY & RACE- All timing information is OFF; (exc. Fastest Laps & Track Records)
- (players can still type /pb for their Personal Best info)

A little history about Team MAD...I created this group in 2012, initially, for a few of us that loved the MMG MakCorp F1 2007 mod (and still do to this day!)

I wanted to give us a way to track our times, so I decided to create a program to read the ftp reports generated by the server. Then came our MAD Timing Monitor to download the compiled data for each track!

After achieving that, I then wanted the relevant info to be shown in-game! This was a relatively easy task to do, as it was simply a case of emulating the mouse and keyboard using standard Windows API commands.

As the server mod grew in functionality (and was adding a lot of fun to our races)... I really felt that others without the MakCorp F1 mod we're missing out on something that should've been in the game a long time ago! So, from Nov 2014, I wanted share the experience with more people and went with the obvious choice of hosting a standard server that was popular. :-)

The support and feedback has encouraged me to what it has become today!
