- Beep Beep Boop?INTRODUCING DEFCON ONE: A Valheim Server
Hello everyone, my name is Captain William and I along with Badgerized both own and host an enormous Valheim server. The server is 24/7 dedicated, with mods and 200 slots in total. Sound crazy? We want to push the boundaries and see how far we can go with our current hardware. Currently the server is PVE / PVP but no griefing or raiding bases is tolerated. We are still trying to work out how PVP will be fleshed out and worked out. It's not encouraged but tolerated to an extent.
Currently we have a selection of mods including:
Expedited introductory quest which will get you started on locating a trader much quicker
Moderately increased XP gains for everything you do
Traders carry literally hundreds and thousands more items than before
5 Points per level, with no level gate so you are more free to develop your character how you see fit
Teleportation commands, teleport to your base and back
New crafting recipes including automatic building steel and concrete walls (place one block down and it will-self build 9 blocks high)
Debuffed zombie block damage so you’re base is not chewed through like swiss cheese (however ferals are faster, and we are still tweaking zombie entity damage)
Increased motherlode perk payout
Keystones are a thousand block radius
Over 100 new unique zombies
Much larger carry capacity, however backpack drops on death
Craftable working sinks, stoves, and chicken coops
And so much more!
None of our mods require any manual client-side download, everything is XML- based and will be downloaded by joining the server. We would like to see some really cool things come out of this, I’m looking forward to building an entire city from the ground up. Come join us!
