If you dont know what the 2nd Rangers Bn is I will tell you. Over 65 years ago the U.S was fighting in World War 2. June 6th 1944 a date which will live in imfamy. on June 6th 1944 over 3 million men landed on the five Normandy beaches code named Juno, Sword, Gold, Utah, and Omaha from 5,000 ships in the English Channel. The American landed at Utah and Omaha. Just on Omaha beach alone over 2,500 Americans lost there lives. It was a slaughter but it was necesary to break into Hitlers Nazi Europe. This was the largest amphiblious landing in military history.
