Sorry famalam, I've retired from CS (hopefully not permanently) and moved to Perth to study Artificial Intelligence @ University of Western Australia so I no longer game. Also partly because my PC got stolen by the freight company LOL RIP. I guess it was a sign from the late great wise philosopher GABEN (our lord and saviour) that i was no longer required to carry your asses in comp and instead had to focus on carrying myself to graduation. I decided I should do something more with my life other than just top frag (or anchor, depending on the night).

While I'm gone, and since you are reading this, please be nice to each other and leave your toxicity at the door. You never know what people are going through in life and at the end of the day, everyone likes to feel loved and supported. The reason I kept coming back to CS was partly because of the gameplay but also because of the community, so keep that vibe strong. I miss you all very much.

The other thing i'd like to say; if you are clocking up a lot of hours on CS or otherwise, please also clock up a lot of hours in the gym and dont skip leg day. Doing heavy squats and deadlifts and neck excercises with a big rubber band attached to a pole is the main way I was able to to defeat chronic pain after battling with it for 3 years. Every single day my neck hurt and it felt like a nerve was trapped between one of my vertebres. I used to do thousands of kills in aimbots server to warm up for comp, and didnt do any stretches or goto the gym. I didnt realise it at the time, but this combination or RSI and poor posture and lack of well-rounded excercise, would be my downfall. I just spent most of the semester break in the gym, 4-6 times per week for anywhere up to 2.5 hours per session, all in attempt to undo the damage i did to my neck whilst practising my flick shots and getting lit on weekends. I'm happy to report that the vertebre recently released only just a few days ago and the nerve is no longer trapped. the other good news is my rehabilitation program had the added positive side effect of making me super ripped. The moral of the story is; dont neglect your physical body until it gets to the point where you literally feel broken and have to live a life in constant pain for 3 years. There was days where I wondered about suicide as I sometimes wondered if it would ever get better. With a lot of self belief and hard work and consistency however, I was able to pull myself out of hole I had dug. This is a warning to you: if you are young and happy (or sometimes not) and dont have any phsyical issues but you game a ♥♥♥♥ ton, then please consider investing some hard time in the gym in order to protect your future self against years of misery. You wont realise the damage you are doing until its too late. Dont let it get out of control. Gym is as much about feeling good and feeling happy as it is about body building or getting athletic and all that, you need to view it as in investment into your mental health when you start out and then the physical benefits will follow. Please gamers, don't do what I did thinking the only thing that mattered was top fragging. Look after yourselves and don't underestimate the numerous health benefits of the squat and deadlift and gym in general.

Languages I've learnt so far at uni;
Python
SQL
Linux terminal

A recent achievement I'm super proud of:
Im starting work as a teacher this semester, facilitating come cyber security labs.
Super excited to see where this could lead!

The only real passion or hobby I have time for at the moment is being a massive Golden State Warriors fan :) if you ever wanna chat about them, computer science, whether to goto uni or not, or have any physical or mental health concerns please feel free to hit me up. I've been through a lot and believe I can be a good help if you get stuck with anything.
