£5 is too steep for a 5 minute experience, not matter how good (and it is good).
It's not that bad, but has very little content, and controls don't feel immersive enough. Should be some way to turn the broom by leaning or something so that you don't have to turn using your feet - it feels like the immersion is ruined.
I can't completely recall, but don't think there was a sound for the wind rushing by when on the broom either.... and the plank part is confusing and seems to be a waste of time.
No in-game menu. No way to restart or quit the game when it's over in a few minutes. Just fireworks forever and all of eternity.
This seems more like a very early access demo than anything else. Cool idea though...just not quite there... maybe check it out on sale if you have a couple bucks to spare? This is the type of thing I'm looking for, so hopefully they will add content and make improvements.
The game does technically do what it says it does. You can fly a broom, you can fight a dragon. I did those things, in just under 8 minutes. Thre realy isn't anything else to the game other then that one castle. Its a giant prop for you to fly around and thats it. Once you fly through all the hoops, you can trigger the dragon to spawn by flying into the center of the map, then you kill it by zaping it about 10 times with your wand. Once you win a victory screen appears and blocks most of your vision and never goes away. The whole thing feels more like a tech demo or showpice then a game.
Pros:
The flying is intuitive and very easy to get a hang of.
Cons:
8 minutes of gameplay
