Hi friends! I write this review having 100%ed the game(based on achievement descriptions.) and having a background for enjoying games in the 'Idler' description!
I implore y'all to come to your own conclusions, and heavily consider the price point of the game before tearing it apart. I am going to be critical by comparing it to other Idlers.

The most charitable way I can describe Kingdom clicker is an Idler. That is split into two basic halves.
+ Coins earned by ACTIVELY playing by clicking the mines(and occasionally the falling coin bag.), affected by increasing the level of your facilities.
+ Coins earned by INACTIVELY playing through raising the level of your Citizens.
... That's it! If you consider earning achievements a perk of the game(I'm a hobbyist completionist, so I did!)
Other Idlers will bring subsystems of synergies between active and inactive play.
AdVenture Capitalist features bonuses and multipliers based on how many of a certain facility you have in addition to currency from it's Rebirth mechanic.
Cookie Clicker has SEVERAL subsystems that tie back into the game, minigames based on the buildings that affect how much you earn, it regularly gives you items that multiply the income of buildings and later introduced synergies and many, MANY other things that allow you to further up the 'number-go-up'pening of the game!
Kingdom Clicker is extremely basic and extremely barebones, it was released in 2018 and hasn't seen any updates recently! I am unsure if it will be visited again, esp given its Mixed status at the time of writing.
If you enjoy Idlers + want another perfect game tied to your account with minimal interaction/interaction with a decent autoclicker while you're away, 99 cents USD isn't a bad price! Just don't expect anything elegant going in, set your expectation properly.
If you're a person of more 'normal' tastes, I cannot recc this at all. You in particular will get bored of the game within minutes. I also tend to play games that I find rly hard to recommend and this is one of those just based on attention span/preference/etc etc etc!
I hope this was helpful! I don't wish ill on the dev of this game at all, it's a tough landscape and a lot of design and math goes into the Idler genre. For every four Idlers I've played, only one of them have rly stuck out to me especially.
For those of you purchasing the game and shooting for completion, here's a few tips for you.
Before you start your save, do yourself a favor and open the 'Credits' tab. Click on the name of the developer for an achievement.
From there, start your savegame. Open the menu with 'Esc' and you'll see an 'Erase Progress' button. Click this and restart your savegame for an achievement. NOW play the game normally!!
A few gameplay tips! It is all about perspective here, if you just want to leave the game open without interacting with it much more than the minimum focus A huge majority on your upgrades ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN. If you prefer to click/use an autoclicker, focus more heavily ON THE LEFT SIDE. Based on the speed of an autoclicker/your clicking, the LEFT side is more of a bang for your buck. But to perfect the game, you will need to upgrade both... And click 20 of the falling coin bags--Definitely actively play until you pop the 20 coin bags achievement, then you make the calls from there on!
