A week ago I probably would’ve recommended this DLC, but they changed 3 of the cars and ruined them

I like this DLC. There are taxi icons from all over the world, which is very cool. In general, I think that taxis are very neglected and overlooked these days (Uber's fault), and yet it is a form of public transport that complements city buses. I understand there are no original vehicles due to licensing issues. It is difficult to obtain licenses today. Overall, I recommend these DLCs. Taxis are great!

Not a bad DLC but could use some polish and some extra effort when it comes to the configs as the exhausts often don't fit the car very well and one of the cars is very underpowered for what it is along with general fit and finish. most of the configs are very limited when it comes to customisation but the bodies are decently well crafted and leave room for custom configs to be made though the complete lack of actual custom body parts is rather disappointing... ONE car has TWO custom body parts and only one is.. decent looking honestly


Update : As of recent (updating on 25th of Feb 2025) A couple cars had their looks changed to which.... They don't look quite as nice and look to be a strange mix of modern and old styles in a slightly awkward way... The old versions looked nicer honestly

I do not recommend this DLC. It's very bare bones, and even at its price barely worth it to sink your time into. Its very clear that this DLC was a quick push out the door to grab some cash.

For example there are a lot of collisions of parts on the cars.
No new engines to compliment the new cars.
Though the 5 new models of cars are different they each have at least one new "sub model" which more or less is nothing more than a Taxi sign slapped on the roof, contrasted with base game cars where different sub models had different body parts and engine options most of the time.
Only 1 of the 5 new cars can have any engine swaps.
Only 1 of the 5 new cars has body customization options and their extremely limited.

To further illustrate the appearance of this being a lazily put together DLC, the first hotfix for it has patch notes that literally just say "Fixed taxi DLC bugs".

DON'T BUY IT YOU CANT DRIVE AROUND AND BE A TAXI this DLC is a quick money grab... also they designed the cars like they had a extremely short deadlines . the car has a RWD rear end and then the gearbox is FWD, also the suspension goes into the block so does the 2 EXHAUST SECTIONS FOR A V4....

i recommend this dlc because its got a lot of taxis like the taxi 1 movie car in the dlc and it gives the game a new life in 2025
