Supermarket Together

As a newbie, this was not easy to understand how to do things. What I thought was logical, wasn't. Once you have figured a few things out it is an ok game, a bit more fun to play with a friend but not so much alone, in my opinion, but everyone has their own style of play.

Very fun game to just chill and play with friends, simple game. Careful with allowing a public game though, even without permissions mouth breathers like YCG-xSnxgYu and gagehood13 can join your lobby and create brief annoyances by clearing out your total dollar amount. Your best bet is to just make a private lobby , the game itself is fine!

I like the game but there are some annoying bugs that needs to be fixed. We have hired 9 people so far and they keep bugging out / getting stuck while holding our products. The only way to fix it is to exit out and come back in, which causes us to lose the product(s). Also, we label our shelves, but the employees disregard it and put whatever they want on it even though they are maxed out on their skills. They do that both inside the store and storage room. Lastly, having to go through every single product to check/ change prices 2x a week is ridiculous. There should be a better system for that. There is a machine but that is crazy high priced on top of the products already being over-priced and other bills. I'm ready to quit every time we have to deal with the prices.

I love this game but please for the love of all that is good, devs, remove the ghosts from the game PLEASE. I hate that I can't stock my store at night and be able to save the game with a fully stocked store because the ghosts keep ripping everything off of my shelves.

Again, this is an awesome game, the fact that it's free is absolutely amazing! I paid for the cool people downloadable content (which I highly recommend) but even without it's a game that I will revisit very often.

good fun to waste a few hours

I have fully completed the game at this point and I have received the 1 million dollar achievement (after 70 in game days). I have a bunch of critiques with the game right now, but I still recommend the game because the base game is free and there are no paywalls. My critiques will be fixed with more development time.

The game is extremely fun and I look forward to see what the developer implements next.

Pros:
- Fun to play with friends and on my own
- Development is extremely active and ongoing
- Modding support in some capacity
- Derpy in the most lovely of ways
- Easy to sink a ton of time into
- Runs on pretty much any computer, also runs on Linux pretty well with proton, big moves there

Positive changes that were previously cons:
- FIXED (employee changes helped) Recovery period (stocking the store and ordering new product) is lengthier than store open
- FIXED Employees still try to stock multiple tasks
- FIXED Employees don't stock items that have multiple areas displayed
- FIXED Changed behavior for storage recently has made my employees not help with storage tasks
- FIXED Not enough employees
- FIXED As you progress, you need to have all employees on cash register. I previously had employees helping with restock.

Cons:
- Not a ton of endgame content yet (I hope there is some planned!)
- Default controls for store design are pretty weird in my opinion
- Right/left click for rotating items (feels like I should be able to rotate things with mouse wheel and place/move with clicking)
- Weird mechanics that make the game feel clunky
- No grid snapping (developer has announced that this will be addressed at some point)
- No way to remove shelving, coolers, check lands aside from before the morning open
- This would be fine, except for the fact that you cannot save in the morning
- No message explaining why I couldn't do this (I found the answer in the forums)
- There is some way that the lighting doesn't feel natural, especially in the evening, even if my store is well-lit
- I'd love more default music. The current tracks are a little tiresome after 20 hours or so and without music, the game doesn't feel quite as lively
- Shoplifters should have a config option because they seem to be extra prevalent if I'm playing with another person after day 50 or so
- Multiplayer does not limit new joiner permissions, so griefing is common in public lobbies

This is a fun game, especially since the base game is free. If the base version of the game was $30+, it would be harder to recommend.

Great game, When mac support tho?

Definitely a fun game, I love being able to goof around and just hit random passerby's with the brooms. It's also a much more tedious game but in the good way with dedication required. Still chill tho.

Very casual fun and goofy, tycoon quick burst of gameplay makes coming back relaxing meant to be played in short bursts, and i hope to see lots of updates or mods for it.

My friends and I accidentally found out what it was like to be on the island from Lord of the Flies. If you are easily upset by discord and the innate chaos of man, do not play this with friends. If you welcome the storm, though... it's a bit silly.

I really hope I get sick of this game soon, this could become a problem.
