Birdfont

I really want to like this program but the lack of documentation and inconsistent tutorials leave me cold. I have been able to get a start on a font since purchasing, and I am able to feel my way through because of a lot of experience with SVG and vector editors, but someone with zero experience would quickly hit a wall, I think.

If you compare Birdfont to the many other offerings in the field, I don't think you're going to do better for the price. There is the free, open source Font Forge, with nearly nonexistent documentation, and there are the rest that range from $150-500 in price, with support I won't learn about because I'm an amateur who is not in any way doing professional font design. So I think Birdfont is fairly priced, but I would like to see the dev work more on a cohesive tutorial than on developing the program, which seems pretty stable to me so far.

I'd suggest, if it is a matter of income vs effort, that the dev develop a course and sell it on Udemy or similar.
