Note: The game focuses on exploration and slowly increases tension to create a deeper and more meaningful experience. It is supplemented by light, loud and sudden sounds. Take into account that it makes you feel a lot of fear and is a difficult game. Christmas Night is a first person psychological horror game.
Environment:
The game takes place in a house in a small town in Cordova, Alaska. A 12-year-old little girl lives in this house with her mother.
The Plot:
The moment the little girl had been waiting for finally came. The tree was decorated, preparations were made and the desired wishes were made. Even though you've been good all year, you're going to have to do more to get the gift you wanted and not be on Santa's spoilers list.
- Will tonight go as Vanessa planned? The Christmas Eve she had been waiting impatiently for turned into a disaster for the little girl.
- If you want your gift, listen to what Santa says and do it to the letter.
- Your mother may have left you alone at home, but the mysteries of Christmas will not leave you alone.
Developer's comment about the game:
We recommend that people who are afraid of the dark, have a heart condition, and are afraid of being alone should not play alone.

Decent little surprise
- Fun to play and mostly entertaining. maybe best of Christmas themed horror, what have I played so far because this not only basic walking simulator and got lot of stuff to do to move forward in game and not very short depends how fast you find things etc.
- Thinking 6/10 but santa who chases you near game end a long time with very crappy animations and not scary somehow ruined the feeling of the game little bit though, maybe the santa part is little bit too long. So i give only 5/10 but still thumbs up because it`s funny and i enjoyed it mostly. (I got this 2.06e discounted price so this is easily worth the money)
Very enjoyable I enjoyed it.
From the moment I stepped into Christmas Night, I was completely zoned in—the eerie atmosphere, chilling sound design, and unsettling tension had me hooked the entire time. What should’ve been a cozy holiday setting quickly turned into a nightmare filled with dread and unexpected scares.
The game’s pacing is perfect, keeping you constantly on edge without relying too much on cheap jump scares. Instead, it builds an overwhelming sense of paranoia, making every creak, shadow, and distant jingle bell feel like a warning. And when the horror hits, it HITS HARD—I was genuinely terrified throughout. I couldn't finish the game and eventually rage quit with Santa killing me in the end.
Not really much to say about this one, it is a very short little horror game this is mostly a fetch quest in how it plays out. It has a nice creepy but typical horror ambience and it looks nice in the small area it plays out in, which is a small house compared to the large creepy mansions in most horror games.

The biggest problem is that you could finish it in under an hour and even just over 35 minutes if you know what you are doing. So at the AU $8.79 they're asking it isn't a lot of game for the price.
If you can get it on sale for a dollar or two then sure, by all means I would say give it a go as it is definitely not a bad horror game.
The beginning of the game was ok, but the final boss sucks
This is one of the better Christmas themed games that I have seen or played recently. It's a very tense experience, wrapped up in a neat little story.
The evil Santa is suitably disturbing. The puzzles work well and pose a good amount of challenge under pressure. The jump scares are unpleasant which is good.
This is one that I will probably actually play again at some point.
A good game if you enjoy horror themed Christmas games.
I have never imagined that the day that i would have to escape from santa would come. Nice indie horror game, nice jump scares and nice graphics.

It's a fun lil game, I cussed out Santa more times than I ever have and I hope the real one doesn't put me on the naughty list for that
FIRST OFF, THIS GAME WAS UNEXPECTEDLY AMAZING! I loved everything about it truly. I highly recommend playing, adding to your library & to your list of games to play for your followers. The atmosphere of the game felt super creepy, Santa murderer was scary as fuh, and playing as a 12 year old within the game felt heart pounding scary as we were doing the tasks asked of us. The jumpscares were awesome when ran out of time or when you ran into him. I don't remember how I came across this game, but I'm glad did and I hope a Christmas Night 2 comes out where she gets her revenge.
I rate this 9.5 because it was unfair when the Santa guy came up in the attic and then when you run straight down to thr basement, he magically appears there, ROTFL, that part made me so heated LOL had a good laugh about it though.
Here is my gameplay of it, it's the second gameplay of the video:

GIVE THIS GAME A TRY! SUPER FUN!
GG DEVS💛🌻💛
While typical to the Christmas games I played this year. Christmas Night offered a new refreshing story line and a interesting aspect of evil Santa. I thoroughly enjoyed this game although I got lost most time's then I would like to admit.
I made a play through over on my Youtube channel for anyone interested in watching a no commentary play through. As always, every gamer plays differently. Please consider supporting the dev's and purchasing the game.

Short game that I, for the most part enjoyed. However I didn't expect much out of it. I was just looking for a short game that got away from traditional Christmas nuance. I wish there was more to the game but what is there I enjoyed. I played 3 Christmas horror games and this was the best of the 3. It bested Lonely Christmas and Christmas Nightmare. The Santa character was pretty solid. I just wish there was more puzzle and the house was bigger. But it is good for the few dollars I spent on it. So thumbs up from me.
this game was supposed to be 30m long, but I played 42 and didn't get anything figured out. after watching the full gameplay on YouTube, I realized that the diary wasn't working, there was no prompt to use TAB to view anything, etc.
I hope whatever this bug gets sorted because it's a very beautiful game that runs smooth and with little resources despite being on "epic" presets.
please don't be put off by my review because it might work for others, and the price is great.
well it is a game..
Not much jump scare.
Now we all know how to play the piano.

At the of the Game i notice we spend more time on the piano instead.....
5/10 This was a Meh.
The scares we're ok but some of the puzzles took me out of the immersion.
Overall its solid for what it was, a Spooky Christmas Horror Game to be played once.
Very fun, short Christmas horror game. Ticked all the boxes for me and exactly what I was looking for!
My gameplay: https://youtu.be/qBn0MyOUufc?feature=shared
This was a fun, short holiday horror! It had depth, good graphics, good scares and puzzles. I think it was just long enough not to feel like it was dragging on. Good length. It took me about 40 minutes to beat. I definitely recommend this game to others!

Awesome stuff!
It was a good short Indie game. Not too difficult. Some jump scares in there. Santa is really creepy. In the end Santa pissed me off and I really wanted to kill him. But isn't that the point of a Christmas themed horror game :)
fun one time walk through, the idea of the game reminds me of Terrifier 3, i hope to see a sequel maybe one that takes place in a big mansion with santa always free roaming with the ability to crouch and hide under beds, closets etc.
Santa, why do you have to play with my emotions like that??
ANY TRUTH GAMER NEED TO PLAY GAME'S LIKE THIS TO OPEN HIS EYES MORE
I loaded my last pampers this Christmas playing this game.
It was a sticky hot mess and my therapist questions if I will ever really recover.
Sometimes I get flashbacks to the first time I died and how I slowly sank back into my seat from the jump scare and I felt the smoosh cushion of yuck wet slop that melted down my pant leg and into my shoe..
My wife left me over it and everything. My kids won't even recognize me as father anymore. I saw a lot of empty bottles of alcohol and other wines inside the fridge and around the house so I too decided when my family left me to start drinking again.
Doesn't help much though. I can still smell it, you know? That lingering scent of Satan's raunch that tears the paint off the walls. Yeah.. The drinking can't even help me forget that...
Oh and yeah the game was great 10/10 I would certainly s h i t myself again!

Be Careful What You Wish For on Christmas...
Christmas horror is a sub-genre of horror that I generally don’t gravitate toward for a couple of reasons. Christmas is meant to be a time of cheer and joy, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate it when something from the horror space is set during the holidays.
In the game Christmas Night, we play as Vanessa, a 12-year-old girl whose parents are divorced. Her only two wishes were to see her father again and receive her favorite toy, which she had lost. However, this Christmas, she’ll get what she wished for. She only has to complete three tasks for Santa within a specific time frame. When she gets her gift, will it be what she wants? Also, can she survive Christmas night?
In general, as a Christmas horror game, this wasn’t a bad one. Throughout the game's second half, I felt tense and on edge, wondering where Santa was at every moment. A part of me didn’t want to leave the attic. In the beginning, the tasks weren’t too tricky (turning off all the lights and lighting candles, finding nutcrackers, and finding firewood for the fireplace). The gameplay was pretty simple, along with the mechanics, though sometimes, when I wanted to interact with an item or light switch, it wouldn’t register. I liked the model Santa used and found him creepy, especially with his red eyes. The game’s not too long, about 30 minutes overall, though; if you’re like me, I was on edge, so it took me a little longer. Ultimately, I found this quite enjoyable, with its good visuals, decent gameplay, and story!
3 out of 5 ★★★☆☆!
For the 1.79 price, def was worth the buy and try. The visuals and the in game noises, to make you feel on edge and nervous, definitely work. They're some bugs regarding the Killer model getting stuck in the basement sometimes, but other than that, very well rounded game. Would recommend to anyone looking for a semi-long horror game to play on the Christmas holiday!
7.1/10
Good game
The good-
-fun game
-good visuals
The bad-
-santa teleported from the attic to the basement and killed me was kind of cheesy

I got this game at a discount, paying $1.79 and I think it was well worth it, if I'd paid $5.99 I could be a little more skeptical. All this being said it was pretty creepy, I would have liked to see some things changed but overall good job! I could see this game being even bigger.
super fun short christmas horror game!
I stream this game today, got a little scary. Santa kill me about 5 times. 5/10
I love puzzle games so I was searching for puzzle games that also had a Christmas theme. Great short spooky game. Only thing I didn't care for was how campy Santa was. Reminded me of a bad Dead By Deadlight camping killer lol.
it really puts the dookie is spooky dookie. Because it is dookie.
Meow Yeah! What a nice indie horror for the holiday season! I chose to showcase this game on my Twitch channel and my viewers really enjoyed it! The graphics were nice, there was a story behind the madness, and great jumpscares! What I assumed was a walking simulator, turned out to be anything but and kept me on my toes the entire time. Towards the end I struggled a bit but my viewers enjoyed speculating what was left unwritten and untold. There was a certain item that I spent too much time on trying to find, but where I lacked in seeking skills, my viewers enjoyed directing me to different areas that I wouldn't have thought of. All in all, I would say this game is great for the value. A quick Christmas scare that will have you on the edge of your seat!
She want to live with her father, so Santa kill her mother.
hooo hooo hooo merry Christmas
Game good, no inverted Y-axis tho. <- 2023 no mouse inverted Y-axis.
do not reco, too dark boring. you start in a house with six rooms and there's nothing in those rooms.
Well made overall but towards the end it becomes more of an annoyance than a fun game mechanic.
Okish little horror game.
I was looking for a short horror game but this is more like "find the objects in dark in 5 minutes or here comes the jump scare" kind of game.
Christmas Night is a fun short horror adventure game where you solve different tasks while evading Santa Claus. The game uses a variety of assets that fit well within the games design. The mechanics of Santa are a bit wonky.. Like he will catch you at the bottom of stairs even if you are around a bend and rail. He doesn't have to pathfind around it like the player, if hes near you, you die. Another bug with Santa is at the very end when I was putting the lever into the fuse box, he immediately spawns in the dark doorway. However upon using the lever, he vanished again and the ending was presented.
The game also has a lean mechanic... but it is unused for anything (And the shadow does not lean with you, which is really scary). A crouch mechanic and more hidden items to find around the house would have been cool. Not just related to the tasks, but additional hidden collectibles in various hard to spot locations.
Okay, the game is just not fun. ''go and collect this go and collect that'' yeah gets boring real quick. Then you cant find the key to the basement and boo big jumpscare. Cool. Haha.
