FloraMancer : Seeds and Spells

Just started really playing this but for a solo dev...this game is great. The art style is beautiful and the concept is very interesting. It definitely has some solodev jank but I feel it adds to the overall experience. I have no complaints. I am sorry this game isn't more popular as the dev definitely deserves the love. Great Job on a really fun game. I was surprised that there are so many spell types.

The game has a really chill vibe and relaxing air.

Unfortunately, it also seems to require a QWERTY keyboard layout. I don't use one, and even when adding it to my input methods I'm not able to control my character. Weird.

The pixel art is really nice on the eyes and i find the concept intriguing, however only a few minutes in i could basically anticipate what the rest of the game would be like.

Cant say i found the combat that engaging and both the player and the enemy's get stuck on various things in the environment. I also noticed when i got the upgrades the game still allowed me to choose options that was already maxed out, resulting in no upgrade at all.

I would give this game a 5/10. It could use some polishing but it gave me some laughable moments. In other words for the price it is enough.

Fun for a couple of hours, but it had a very "basic" feel -- like I was playing a free flash game from 20 years ago, and it didn't stay interesting for very long. The price tag isn't high though so I'd recommend it for a casual game for a couple of hours.

An interesting combination of exploration/combat and farming, with enough of a story to keep you exploring. While I ultimately did not finish the game, I might end up coming back to it later and encourage anyone who thinks it looks interesting to give it a try. I've only played it for about an hour and you'll know probably by then if you want to play it long term.

This is such an amazing game.

Cute game with a fun, novel mechanic well worth it's price. The different difficulties are basically perfect, with cozy offering a relaxing experience, and hardcore being much more difficult, while still being enjoyable. It never feels like a grind waiting for new flowers, when i was expecting it to at the start.

Beautiful graphics, beautiful music, 10/10

I would definitely buy again, and recommend it for anyone who enjoys the shooter genre.

I've seen the developer on one of these "1 Game, 5 Developer, No Communication" Videos made by Blackthornprod and instantly fell in love.
Bought it not much later and I have to say, it kept the promising impression!

Magic, some kind of farming and a cute art style! For me a great combination!
The spells feel rewarding (especially the ice spell, when freezing the lakes) and growing my garden made this game so damn cute!

For an indie developer it is an amazing game with good balancing and nice mechanics!

But:
It is a bit short. I did not explore too much as I found all the needed spells on my direct ways and so won the game in a little under two hours.
Though I will come back and look around for some hidden items.
Also as a side note: Maybe change the ice physics? While it is funny to endlessly slide on ice, it is also a bit confusing.

All in all a super nice game and I surely do not regret buying it! Especially since it supports a decent indie developer!
