Unreal engine sucks, no music controls, very laggy, no windowed mode, ugly 3d, and it's hard to find the frogs on the dark parts. I would just skip this one If could.
6/10
One of my favorite entries in the "find 100" series! Very cute art style, cute coloring too! Loved the small puzzles to add a bit of depth, (not a difficult puzzle at all by any means, but it does stretch the game time just a bit more). Definitely looking forward to seeing any more of the 3D find 100's as well as the very charming traditional versions!
I loved the twist on a hidden picture game. Some of the objects were a challenge to find and I needed to figure out the clues that would open up some of the areas that were needed to finish. I absolutely loved the challenge. Very well done.
This is like the 10th “100 hidden” game I’ve played from this dev. They’re usually pretty chill to “play” while watching anime or whatever—but this one was straight booty cheeks. It bugged out multiple times (not even counting frogs I actually found), and somehow almost maxed out my 4090 GPU—lmao. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a crypto miner in it, and if not, then it’s hands down the worst optimized game I’ve ever seen.
I really enjoyed the concept of this game and would love to recommend it to others. The challenge of finding 100 frogs is engaging and fun. However, after completing the game once, it appears to bug out—it starts automatically selecting frogs, and I’m unable to start a new game. This has been particularly disappointing since my five-year-old was eager to play again. I hope the developers address this issue soon, as the game has a lot of potential for kids.

A short basic 3D hidden frogs game with no settings adjustments
What this game is: A hidden animal game, like others found on Steam.
How does it work? It is a basic point and click game. Here you have to find all the frogs hidden in a colour one level basic 3D setup.
How does it perform? Easy to play. You click on each frog you find, changing its colour to red. Some other items or animals have also to be found in order to unlock some boxes (getting all objects of a same category will provide the keys opening the boxes). By rotating the setup, you get access to all frogs and items.
The good points: Simple and relaxing game. You only need to sit, click, and relax. Getting the Achievements is very easy and there are no apparent bugs. Takes around 430 MB on your HD, and will run on a 10 years old PC.
The bad points: The game is very short. Replay value is extremely limited. You can expect basically 20 minutes of entertainement out of it. Music is ennoying and recycled from similar games made by the same devs. Setting adjustments are non-existent. You cannot toggle the music off, you cannot adjust the volume, there is no zoom or screen settings. There is no leaderboard. No Steam Trading Cards. This type of game is an easy scheme to sell cheap hidden items or animals games on Steam with short playtime.
My take on this: I bought a bunch of these games in the past years, and at first I liked it as it is relaxing gaming. But now, you pay for a few minutes of gaming in a repetitive concept. This concept would be better with a couple more levels and some variations of the main gameplay and some more difficulty. If you want easy achievements this is the thing. If you want to enjoy a well built and reasonably entertaining game that can last more than a few minutes, this is not it. The only redeeming quality this game has is the basic 3D aspect and the introduction of a few aspects improving the gameplay. Buy only if seriously discounted.
Nice game
EZ to get all achievements 100%
The jump to 3D is really fun, great game! 🐸
Amazing game. Its basically the same as the first, but with more colors and it's 3D! If you haven't already, I recommend that you check out the first game. Some parts can be hard, but I know you can do it. Just a great game overall.
Find the frojays.
What could be better than 100 hidden frogs? 100 hidden frogs 2! This game was fun in a way that it felt more experimental than some of the games in the 100 hidden series. Give this game a try!
"100 hidden frogs 2" is yet another one of those find 100 things games... but this one has a twist, it's got low poly 3D rendered "art" instead of the usual black and white line drawing.
Now, it's very clear that 3D graphics are better than 2D graphics as a generalization. We know this because, well, the game industry exists and it's an overwhelmingly 3D industry. Every gaming PC and console has 3D acceleration and has had since 3D graphics were introduced and became mainstream in the mid 1990's. Triple-A studios don't make 2D games, there's not enough demand for them. Only a tiny fraction of the top 100 games on Steam are 2D.
But there's an important corollary to this; bad 3D graphics don't make bad 2D games better.
The game is very simplistic, small and limited in scope and ambition. This feels more like a tech demo, proof of concept or student homework assignment rather than a fully fledged product designed for PC gamers. As such it doesn't offer any real value as a serious PC game.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
This is indistinguishable from a mobile app, but they put this on Steam instead of the app stores by mistake. Was it rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all)?.
Regardless, for all intents and purposes "100 hidden frogs 2" might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 9 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam?
"100 hidden frogs 2" is relatively cheap at $4 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product, and of those 14,000 free games, there's quite a few free "hidden frogs" type games, so if you really want to play such a game, play one of the free ones.
Ive attempted to complete the game three times now. Every time one to two of the last chests dont trigger the achievements. I complete the game, confetti goes, but it does not 100% the game. Really frustrating. took 5 trys total to get the 100%

NEVER USE UNREAL ENGINE EVER AGAIN
Anatoliy's best game !
This game is terribly optimized. I noticed immediate lag when I first opened the game and when clicking on the frogs throughout. Some of the frogs took multiple clicks to count which was irritating. When I would tab out of the game, my computer started lagging badly...and this is a PC that can run games such as CoD lol. While I'm at it, there should also be a setting to turn off the volume- I had to do this in my PC's volume mixer which shouldn't be the case.
I saw that this is the dev's first 3D game, but it has been out for almost 2 years and it appears they have not put out any updates/fixes for things people have complained about, particularly this optimization issue. Considering a game engine was used to make this, it shouldn't be hard to fix.
100 hidden frogs 2 is a 3D hidden object game.
This game differs from the other '100 hidden x' games, as it is fully 3D. You can rotate the level 360 degrees by moving to the edge of the screen of using WASD. The graphics are cartoony and are in color this time around. Some of the frogs are well hidden and you have a few clickable characters that gives you little 'quests' (such as finding 10 apples, etc.) The game is much too short for the price point, so I would recommend the others unless this is on a massive sale.
Overall, this game offers a fun 15 minutes of content, but I would definitely wait for a sale!
Recommended for people who chase achievements quick. Great game and quite challenging as well. Most of the challenge did came from the need to have decent video card. lol. Game is buggy. Found 100 frogs in 10 minutes but had to restart up to 6 times because I always get all frogs but not all achievements.
This is the kind of game I play for a little reprieve from moments when my brain is running like a hamster on a treadmill. It's extremely simple: find 100 hidden objects (in this case, frogs again) and after that, congratulations on completing the game!
Unfortunately, I don't think I can rate this one as highly as its predecessor. I commend the dev for trying something new but I don't think it hit the mark. It felt underwhelming and unpolished, and in some ways, unfinished. Positives are that I liked the added objectives and interactivity, I thought the music was a vibe, and the 3D models are super cute.
However, the glaring negative is that it doesn't seem well optimised. It lags, it stutters, it's unresponsive at times, the game broke when it came to opening a chest once, and it crashed on three separate occasions, forcing a full restart of my PC. Overall, It left me feeling a bit frustrated rather than relaxed which was the main draw for me buying in the first place. So, for those reasons, I don't think I can truly recommend buying it.
this game have bad fps
The 3D 360 rotation was great - I rather prefer the first to prevent my PC from overheating - still a great sequel.
Huge missed opportunity by not having at least one frog say ribbit.
NOT TRUE TO FORM BAD
Frog! OK!
This game is legitimately so much fun! I played the first one which is free, then bought this one. I love it, was so much fun, it is short (if you are good at finding them of course) however I like that in addition to frogs and to unlock all 100 you had to do other minor objectives. I really hope they come out with more 3d versions but I think I am definitely going to buy some of their other hidden object games. Its just simple, wonderful fun, totally worth the small cost of entry!
i like frogs, good game about frogs. i like the game
Super cute game - in every way. The graphics are cute. The music is cute. The animations are cute. I would definitely purchase similar games like this. The game is rather short for the price but, I think it makes up for it in everything else. 100% better than the hand drawn black and white interpretations of the hidden item game.
This one has a super cool 3D-esque world to find the frogs in. It was a killer twist, and the puzzles to unlock the chests were the icing on the cake.

This is a 100 hidden objects style game, and is noticeably unique in that it is a 3D scene rather than 2D, with simple graphics and lovely lighting effects. In addition to finding the frogs there are also some small puzzles to solve by collecting other items, and doing so will reveal additional frogs. There is no hint system though, so it's possible to get stuck on the final few, which could be frustrating. That said, combined with the lovely music, this was a great surprise and a good example of what games in this genre can achieve when the devs put love and care into their games.
This is an S-tier game in this genre.
so nice to play one of these games in 3d!!!! very cool
3D puzzle.
- find the frogs
- you're now a frog
