Best otome on Steam for adult women, imo.
So good i had to buy it twice (Once on Switch and now here)
I 100% it on my Switch last year.

There are many otomes on Steam now (if we count indies) but a lot of it still feels catered to teenagers. I'm not going to lie i love those otomes too, but it's nice with otomes like this that are less anime, more realistic, melancholy feeling to it. It's also suprisingly dark at times and the story really gets you engaged where you feel Yuriko's despair.
It's also not heavily trope-y. It does have the main guy, childhood friend route but it doesn't feel too in your face about it.
All of the routes are pretty interesting. And they all feel very passionate and romantic. And for once i actually liked the main guy/guys(?) (I'm guessing both Shiba & Majima counts as the main guys.

The MC is obviously self-insert to some degree but i liked her personality, she doesn't come across as annoying or weak which a lot of these MCs can sometimes.

I still wish they did not censor the life out of it :D But i think this game suffer less from censorship then what happened to Crimson Flower so it's rewritten in a way that it sort of works. You don't feel the same frustration that there are obviously something has been cut out but you don't know what. I mean you still feel some frustration but at least you can sort of piece together what happened. In the end i'm just glad they translated it to begin with, i always wanted to play the original so i take what i can get.
tbh when it comes to otome you can throw me crumbs and i'll swallow it like a starving baby bird, even so i had an amazing time with this otome.

honestly one of my favourite otoges EVER!! emotional in a hundred different ways, such a good game. junichi shiba the absolute love of my life.

A breath of fresh air. Beautifully written visual novel, really entertaining to read, no fillers. Roots are unpredictable, has a good balance between romance, drama and funny elements. Also love the artstyle a lot. And yes, we have a hot brother root voiced by Daisuke Hirakawa buuut we also have the best boy Ma-...Maji..ma.......

(Nice and dark Otome Game)

At first I thought of this game as another boring otome, but I was clearly wrong.

It's the most brutal otome I've ever played. It's not DAMN brutal, but really unusual amongst other games of the same genre. Bad endings are quite cruel, I loved them. So are some male characters. Incest, drugs, prostitution, s**cide and other pretty things are common here.

MC is quite annoying though. She often says offensive things and tries to manipulate male characters. Boys are mostly cool, but there was a route I skipped completely (not fond of tsunderes). I highly recommend to complete this game according to the guide on Otome Kitten site.

I bought this game on a summer sale. Seeing how expensive it is, I would recommend to do the same. It really doesn't cost its full price. It's relatively short, sometimes boring and doesn't have brilliant high-quality art. It should cost maybe 7 $, but clearly not 38 $.

Still, I'm recommending it, 'cause I've had some fun.
