Looping Bravery

What a great start! Fun concept. RLDB mechanics adds to the time dilation function and gives a very satisfying dimension. The end game screen is a bit of a letdown; really hoping an update can add something more. Love that card choices in the beginning declare the class. I'd be happy to throw more money at a DLC if it fills the game out a bit more. 5 hours in and enjoying it very much. Great job, devs.

Very interesting mechanics at play. Art style is pleasurably funky. Loved the way the plot progresses after each loop.

An enjoyable and fresh roguelike deckbuilder that is worth full price, IMO.

Great roguelike with unique mechanics:
- turn manipulation with the antimatter 'currency'
- break bar that draws cards and gives you 'mana'
- huge variety of play styles
- powerful items that give you passive powers
- dialogues give you small world building hints and additional useful rewards

I recommend this game also for the story, it's interesting to see where the story goes. Aliens, robots, different groups of armies all fighting for something.

P.S. the pixel art is also looking great for a solo project.

Solid game, definitely can see the soul the developer put into it. Recommended if you're into deckbuilders.

This game is a perfect example of a labor of love and how to create unique mechanics in a roguelike deckbuilding game that work well together and ensure that you'll be having fun every run.

The weapon choices at the start of every run are not just reskins but actually completely change your playstyle and force you to be creative.

There is a breakbar mechanic that rewards attacking and being aggressive by giving you card draw and action points in return (obviously allowing for some insanely satisfying and damaging turns).

You also manage another resource called Antimatter which is used on the TMD (Time Manipulation Device) which adds another layer of gameplay. The TMD allows you to well, manipulate time, rewinding turns, having enemies skip their turns, time locking to prevent certain abilities and so on.

All of these fit into the time travelling theme of the game allowing you to be eerily immersed in this retro feeling nostalgia-inducing world. Definitely an experience and definitely worth to pick up.

This is a great pickup for $5 there are some great design choices here and you get that homebrewed indie game feel which evokes nostalgia for me everytime (I mean the story is literally about going back in time to different eras). Every run is going to feel a little different based on the weapons you pick up which will also give you different cards there are also items which will effect your combat encounters.

I love how pick up and play the game is because of simplified mechanics like this there is also this breakbar mechanic which will give you more AP and cards so finishing off enemies is very satisfying. I have not even got to the time bending mechanics which sets the game apart among other deck builders and leads to a whole new level of strategy where you can manipulate your turn, flip enemy intentions, etc. This game does not waste your time as it encourages you to play combat quickly and efficiently.

The entire games of a sort of mysterious undertone reinforced by the sounds and dialogue I wanted to learn more and spend time getting all achievements I have half of them so far but it would take a long time to get them all including the 3 ‘hidden’ ones. If the same mystery intrigues you then give this one a try I think you will be pleasantly surprised like I was.
