I have played this game for awhile now. Recently, I have paid my money to purchase and upgrade parts on my car. After purchasing the parts they disappear and the money i used to purchase these parts also disappear. You get no response from the makers of the game when asking for help.

Whole style of the game is cool but I really would like to see better/more realistic: physics, audio for vehicles, mechanical feel for the cars, and the HUD could use some work. I understand its a mobile game at its core but I feel like I'm asking for the fundamentals here. Great foundation just needs polishing

If you want to play this with a steering wheel like I did then avoid this game. Steering wheel support is really rough and does NOT work well at all. The customization and tracks are great besides that. Whenever this game has proper wheel support I will play this.

When i load a game to play that's what i want to do. if i want to watch you tube i go to you tube.

Game stems from a mobile game which i used to play as well. The major problem with them both is that they are WAY too grindy. You can get some pretty nice slides with the early cars but good luck getting anything else because its going to take you a WHILE. I purposefully cheated in this game to get money and eventually I did get banned but I don't really care, because that was the only time I enjoyed this game, when I had money and wasn't constantly grinding for it. CarX has better physics, better customization, and doesn't force you to spend money in order to progress anywhere. Heck even Drift21 is better than this. This game would be just fine had they not went with the pay model. Feels like they went with the War Thunder method and made it pay to progress. Also, the wheel controls are some of the WORST I've ever used but what do you expect from a mobile game dev? Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a drift game.

The game was fun on mobile when it first came out. Horrible on PC - just feels like a mobile game on PC. Don't even try playing with a steering wheel especially if you're coming from an actual race sim like Assetto Corsa.

Honestly I really enjoyed this game for the time that it let me play it. BUT after playing for a while and getting a ton of stuff, even spending money here and there. It glitched and I can't play it at all anymore. It lets me open the game but nothing else, no races, no cars, nothing. I can't even type out a bug report. So this is a great game to play if you want to waste your time :)

THIS IS NOT A BAD GAME!
by no means is this game perfect and i have to acknowledge the crazy amount of bugs and clunky moments i have experienced in the menu area. It also FEELS like a lazy cashgrab but it is not. the dlc provides royalties to the drivers and i personally appreciate that- pay for licensed cars and support your favourite drivers.
This Game is also a GRIND. You are supposed to build your car and that takes time and effort- especially at first and i would admit the balancing is not in your favour. BUT once you get the hang of the physics this game can be really enjoyable. dont compare it to forza or even nfs because thats not the point. if you want an interesting drift sim/arcade experience i would 100% recommend this game and its FREE! you can also sync progress to your phone which is pretty useful for this type of game

Awesome Arcade Drifter, My Favourite Personally. Can't wait to see how the game progress's, 1000x better then the free mobile version of the game imo even though i also enjoyed that before the steam version was released

Keeping in mind this is still a work in progress. It's a great god damn game! Dev's always keep this game updated and are constantly listening to the community about whats wrong and what to improve. 100% recommend this game to anyone who is a formula drift fan or just a drifting fan in general.

game is garb, everything feels very off and unnatural. the UI is really nice. physics, steering, transmission is straight potato. ive had this game for quiet awhile and haven't seen any improvement to gameplay. doesn't compare to Carx, and even that game kinda sucks.

stay clear from this one boys, she's wack af. they honestly shouldnt be charging a dollar for this lol. i cannot believe the 18$ price point. all these other guys giving this a positive review are on crack.

I haven't touched this game in a while but as soon as I do its literally unplayable. I'm trying to make my car competitive and its basically bugged to where i can't do anything. Idk what they did to this game in the last year but i actually can't even play it. Im sorry but I can't recommend this product

I've played this game since the release on mobile, and have put 70 hours into the PC version so far and I love it.

Sure it has it's bugs, but remember it's still being ported over from mobile and is still in early access. In my opinion, its one of the best/intricate drifting games on the market! Updates and patches are fairly often, and the dev team seem super responsive to problems and ideas that players have about the game.

The crates are a feature where in alot of games are a pay to win can still make you feel like youre getting robbed due to rarely getting anything good.
Thats where TD does great! The Bullion is relatively easy to gain, provided you put the effort in. Even so, you can still can alot of TD crates and or sponsor crates via events or freestyle comps.
Also the ratio in which you get rare parts doesn't seem like a once in a full moon. It honestly feels pretty balanced in which you can unbox a pro car or custom parts. Unless Ive just been luck.

There are a huge number of cars to choose from and have various bodykits to choose from.
The only thing I'm not fond of is the livery editor. It'd be nice to be able to manipulate the shape of your decals so you could get the right design youre looking for. Also it sucks you can only make a decal so small, I wish it were able to go smaller than what they are able to now.

BUT! Besides that! I have nothing but pure love for this game, the community is great and I hope it only gets bigger and better from here.

oh also custom lobby lag when someone enters SUUUUCKS

I come from playing more than 500 hours of mobile torque drift
I do this review with 33.8 hours played on pc.
I'm not very fluent in English, but I'll try my best

the game is very well optimized to be an early access (70-80 fps in high)

cons:
carli banks is poorly optimized and bug.
the quality of the updated maps is good but when advancing the edges are blurred and it is annoying (they could add graphics option for on / off)
no steering wheel support

pros:
Great physics
Variety of pieces
Sponsors (although they still don't work)
Graphics

Ideas:
1.They could add an option in graphics, in which you can choose the graphics of the maps (mobile graphics or PC graphics), so they will give more support for low-performance PC players

2.Currently there is only Body kit complete, but they should add to be able to buy the separate parts or one to choose how to leave your car

People need to understand this is early access. Yes, at the moment it is basically a port from mobile but they are making changes every day and they need our help to improve it. This has so much potential!

Pros
- Great physics
- Graphics
- Customisation
- Licensed parts / cars / sponsors
- Great music

Cons
- Currently no support for ultrawide monitors
- Texture quality on most maps are poor but they are updating that
- Lots of "in app purchases"
- Currently no wheel support (in progress apparently)

Hope it gets more PC updates because it needs to be able to appeal to more PC users. It has a lot of potential, can't wait how this game turns out!

After playing for about an hour, I have to say I don't recommend the game in its current state. For reference, I also played the game on mobile. I wasn't a fan of the control scheme, and iOS controller support wasn't available yet. I saw promise and potential, so I was excited to get my hands on this. I played free play, some online, messed with the customization and went through as many settings as possible. The only thing I didn't experience was the "Sponsors" tab.

The Pros:
- Driving is fun on an Xbox One controller. Takes some tweaking (controller smoothness etc), but once you learn it, it's good.
- Real technique affects the car. i.e. using the foot brake to get closer to walls, clutch kicks, etc.
- Good car list, great track list. Tracks like Long Beach have a unique return road which is really refreshing instead of turning around and coming back.
- Nice to see a bunch of real-life manufacturers, companies and cars in the game.
- Records the lead run of a driver instead of running against a player live in PvP. Some may not like this, but using this system you don't have to worry about following laggy players on wifi. It's a decent solution.
- Graphics are okay. Smoke is well done, all things considered. Following a lead car, you'll be smoked out and it's a fun experience to try and predict where they will be in front of you.

The Cons:
- Car sounds are interchangeable. The biggest issue is that many times your engine RPM sounds lock, and you have no idea if it's time to shift or not. No rev limiter, no progression through revs, it's all at random and makes the game harder to play.
- UI is a complete joke. If it wasn't for friends and viewers helping me maneuvre around the menus I would have never been able to figure half of the game out.
- No sort of tutorial or explanations on what things mean. Again, had to ask others what "rarity unlock" means because the game doesn't bother explaining it. This is a theme throughout. I had no idea "events" were technically multiplayer events.
- To build on no explanations, there's no clear path of progression like in other games of this genre. It just plops you into the world and says "do stuff", I don't get any feel of progression at all, or any guidance on what to complete and when.
- The DLC and microtransactions are borderline predatory. To purchase all DLC cars, would be $280+ CDN. The pro cars in-game only have a .5% drop rate, so if you're planning on driving as your favourite FD driver in the game, think again or whip out your wallet. There's also no way to unlock those cars via progression or in-game currency, only lootcrates or DLC.
- Timed unlocks in a PC game is a farce. I shouldn't have to wait 3hrs for a bodykit to unlock when I've already paid money for the game itself.
- A $17.99 CDN asking price, when the game seems to have less features than the mobile game it's ported from makes absolutely no sense a consumer. You do get a 1000hp BRZ, some gold and in-game currency, but I used near all the gold (about $15 CDN worth) on crates and only unlocked brakes, an intake, and wheels. I realise the game will be F2P on launch, but paying for the privilege to have a worse experience than I can on mobile is just a bad business model.


32/100. This game needs a lot of re-working, re-building and re-tooling if it wants to compete on the PC market. There are better arcade-style drift games on Steam, and for the price of the game and all the DLC you could buy a wheel and a sim and have a better experience. Either wait until these problems are rectified (judging from the road map, they don't seem to think any of these are problems. Believe me, the last thing this game needs is wheel support right now.), or just play the game on mobile with a controller. At least that way, you'll save yourself the $18+ dollars. Super disappointed, this could have been a great move when it comes to drifting games but it looks like we're still waiting on a solid, battle/tandem based title.

its been out for a while now and as soon as i came back in game i only had sound on left hear. daily challenge are nearly impossible and even the spedometer is ass, you can barely see what rpm you're at.

graphics are horrible for now its a mobile game so we can hope theyll improve it

Game looks alright but needs to be less app like if your making it a pc game, and also would be nice if the inside of the car camera would be added in.

Straight up port from mobile. Money making machine. I mean look at all the DLC's XD each car costs money. And to pay 12 quid for this, you gotta be crazy. Max 3-5 quid.

Music is dope tho.
